No way to register it, and trying to contact their activation support doesn't work. There's a message at the bottom of that page about an error for the CAPTCHA and that it's an invalid domain. This launch was a disaster as it apparently was never tested to see if one could actually register the software. I guess I'll have to uninstall it.

I evaluate these offerings only if they are 64 bit Win 7-10 and offer lifetime use. However, I just exit out of ones that have restricted terms of use to just be the same as a trial. If I wanted to just try it out I would research it and get the latest trial version. What do you think the word "GIVEAWAY" means ? The ones I do try out I will buy if it looks useful or is better than the multitude of freeware or donate-ware. I would think most participants think the same way.

its a wonder this is free
it will not work on a 64bit operating system only 32bit so this software on most of todays computers is totally outdated and not worth the effort downloading

omnia, I just checked with Process Explorer (from PortableApps) that my Windows Office 64 Pro runs a 32 portable Thunderbird (from PortableApps) and a 64 bits FireFox from the same stable. But PowerPoint from Microsoft Office 365 is a 32 bits application. So it is certainly not completely useless for me.

Downloaded and installed the program. Followed the instructions in the ReadMe file. I found nothing on their webpage that will give me a registration code. Clicked on the link at the bottom of the program's interface, and the page it went to is blank.

This company needs to get its act together. Uninstalled.

Hello, it works.
BUT, not nice at all that only for 32bit machines, which are almost extinct!, unless of course, you upgrade!
BTW, this is the 'pro' version, so when one upgrades it will be to the 'pro pro' version???
Simple bait and switch. Not appreciated.
Thank you, but am NOT happy. I wish GAOTD will check the offers accept and publish only ones that are a genuine (also not time limited) version not severly crippled like this one.

Not only is it the free version in all respects it probably does'nt work
tried there Browser Password Recovery Pro kept telling me there were no saved
passwords when tried it on chrome.

Cynthia, If it is for TrueCrypt, it is either you have the original password or you dont get in. I have a 1TB drive that the password wont open, in the last four years, completely inaccessible.
And support for TrueCrypt ended many years ago.
My sympathies.

Cynthia, the whole purpose of TrueCrypt (now CipherShed) was to deliver a system where it was totally un-hackable with no "back doors". If you have lost your password on TrueCrypt the only way (which term includes the FBI) you are going to be able to recover your data is with the password i.e. if you don't think you can ever find your password, save space on your drive: Delete the file.

TrueCrypt (and others) is so secure the US put into place laws stating, if you refuse to give the FBI your password they can assume they are right and you broke the law i.e. they admit they do not have the ability to hack the file. (It's not TV. Until quantum computing is available, products like TrueCrypt are beyond the ability of any person or agency on earth to hack. Your data is lost forever.

An, it is NOT installed by the giveaway installer or the trial installer from their website. IF it is available it is concealed and not openly available, there is also supposed to be a portable build that is part of the Pro personal oxymoron named product.
It is NOT rocket science to include both 32bit AND 64bit binaries in a single installer and decide which to install based upon the edition and version of windows the installer is running on. The deliberate exclusion of 64bit binaries required to communicate with 64bit processes asterixed input boxes is a choice they made.

Turns out the personal Pro oxymoron named license EXCLUDES 64bit application access!!!! Only the Pro Enterprise or above includes 64bit application compatability! The personal Pro edition does not even Password Report in CSV,XML,JSON,SQLite only supporting pure HTML password input boxes in 32bit browsers! Portable edition is only available with the Unlimited edition! implying ALL other editions are unduely LIMITED! They expect end users to PAY for purposely crippled software!
