Use Control+ V to paste Registration / activation code. I , too have the same questions as posed below-namely "If I understand correctly the license will expire if not purchased within a year’s time. If the license expires will I be unable to decompress the batch of files?" (and Also) "Do you need to decompress the file for it to be read by the originating program? I.E. is this like a 'zip/ file?" Looks like Software Dev has not yet responded to these questions,Please Respond.

What make this better than several free programs such as 7-zip?

Hott, It leaves the original file format, but it just reduces the size. For example, it does not turn a mp4 file into a zip or RAR file, it just makes a new copy of the mp4 file with a reduced size.

Phil, No. I tried it on an .mp4 video file, and it made a copy with a reduced size. It reduced the file from 2.8 GB to 2.4 GB, and it also has an optional enhance feature.
