2 notes:

1) I had installed version 2020.1 on 4/29/20. Did not save my password so I figured I would need to recover or reset as the readme installation instructions state:

"Run the installer and enter your Incomedia account e-mail or create the new one - you'll be sent the confirmation letter.

For the active Incomedia account, you'll be asked for your account password in the next program window."

When I agreed to the terms & pressed next, it checked with their server and instantly activated the software. No password requested.

2) Once installed & activated, it shows that the version given away today is 2023.1.4 Mentioning that as I had not seen it anywhere else.

Downloaded and activated fine with my Incomedia profile (which I did not realize I had). So, it seems I had this before (though a older version) on an another older laptop, when I was interested in trying (being new at this and all) to make my own web site. Looking the 2023 version over, the provided templates look good, and used with what looks to be Latin as the text example, and that was as far I was able to Go, or not to GO.

Can not open a blank template, being told by the app, I am a bad boy and that is not allowed? Okay, so I haven't been to church for a few years and this app is being unresponsive, hmmm? So, I think to myself, I will open one of the provided templates and look at that, hit start and, or not GO, again?

Tried a few different templates and I kept getting, "An error occurred while loading the project. (Could not find the file 'C\users\...\Documents\Website X5-Go\Limited;). So, I say to myself, let us go look at documents, and I find a Incomedia file with W X5 Go, ummm, empty? This is not good, so, I say to myself, let us delete and re-load the app from the website, or maybe, first check them der Microsoft security stuff on my laptop. Sure enough, in the protection history, WX5 GO, is considered a no no, and I approved/fixed that. Thank you W11 for the extra work, though you are keeping me safe.

Yup, no problems now, template downloaded (who doesn't love coffee?) and everything was up to me to play with and redo. Still, I just find it amusing that this app will not allow anyone to use a blank template (*showing those big LOCK symbols*) and yet it says it will be easy to make your website and free. "QUICK You don't need to code. Just use the Drag & Drop tool to organize your content and build a website without touching a line of code." "FREE Your ideas and your passions are important. Don't waste time, download WebSite X5 Go 2023 right away and create your first website for free". Oh well, maybe I am missing something, after reading the marketing?

Regardless, Thank You GOTD for your continuous hard work, and Incomedia for this app.

krypteller , I tried to set E: for new apps. In order to do so, windows asks me if I agree to delete the apps already on E. I of course ndo ,noit want to do that.
So it does not work.
Neamwhiloe, the GOTD is not availabloe any more.

there is NO activation code at all.
Please get back to the readme file and re-read it carefully.

Helen, fixed it now. The problem was that I installed the program from the .exe provided in zip file which ultimately ends up asking for license key. The solution was to install the .exe provided by the website LINK -> https://go.websitex5.com/lp2/2023.1/en/go/gaotdgo2023en/thanks.php

Downloaded and installed with no issues. Created a new account with website. Did not receive any activation code so not sure what to do without that.

Helen, I should have said Licence Key, instead of activation code. When I install it, I the License Activation screen the enter E-mail Address. I enter my E-mail address and click Next. I then get the Activate your License screen and an area to enter a Licence Key. How do I get a Licence Key? There is no option to create a new account.

When you open the program, it asks for an email address and activation code. If you don't supply it, the program exits. Maybe you can point out what we are missing in the readme file to bypass the activation screen
