Please read this guide if you are not sure how to register the software.
Step 1. Download Zip package from GOTD. Unzip the Package and run setup.exe to install the software.
Step 2. Run this software and a pop-up window will appear, on which you can see the comparison between free trial and registered version. Meanwhile, just find and click the "Get Free License" button at the bottom-left corner.
If the "Get Free License" button doesn't appear, just directly click the link: https://www.vidmore.com/cooperation/video-enhancer-giveaway/ to enter into the registration page for getting the free license code.
Step 3. You will be redirected to the registration page. Input your name and email address, then click the "Get Free License" button. An email will be sent to your email address automatically.
If you do not receive your license key after several hours, please check your spam or junk mail folder.

To me it appears like a sham (Mogelpackung) for only after install I learned that the code is valid one year.
Does anyone know whether it can remove watermarks like 3sat, arte, ARD, et cetera?

Maybe it is just me, but I am very reluctant to install any program before I have the information required to register the software. No matter what the scheme is... look for a pop up window or email use... there are chances an error will occur. No one wants to install a program and then be stuck uninstalling it due to an unexpected error. It is better to just supply the info first, perhaps in the readme file that accompanies every offer here.

It says it can upgrade 480p videos (=720x480 pixels) to 4K video (=3840x2160 pixels)...i highly doubt it. I don't believe in magic : it can only make the file bigger with no improvement...try it and tell me if i am wrong.

Frank, The only thing is that your Flatscreen 720x480 pixels (small image) to 3840x2160 pixels (full image) should not do, or you. But like everything with advertising, all the advantages are listed, but never the disadvantages

Frank, I haven't tried it yet... but remember that they have successive frames of video to work with and DVD/BluRay players manage to upscale older DVDs at least a little in real time as video plays. I doubt it could look as good as a native 4K video, but some improvement is possible. I may give this a try, I'm more interested in removing shake (or slower drifting) from some videos. Would rather have upscaling done by a video player instead of making my files bigger. And even upscaling files might come in handy if creating a disc for someone else, or for playing on a TV, or for merging with videos of higher quality.
