I followed your instructions in Step 2 Note, I even typed in the licensed code and still get the 401 code error.
Also, I had an earlier Windows version (5.4) installed from an earlier Giveaway (May 17, 2023) and that also would not register the license. Same 401 problem.
Prior to that the 5.1 version was installed (from Nov 15, 2022 Giveaway) registered and worked fine.

I bought the program from a company with a lifetime license and I can responsibly say that I found an unpleasant error while working with this program.
The program does not remember the bitrate setting for the MKV codec for video. And not even in version 6.0 !!!
Digiarty replied that it was on purpose and the bitrate value was calculated by the program according to the video file.
If you change the bitrate value for the video you must confirm this value TWICE. The first time after the change and the second time you must enter the MKV codec settings and confirm once more. It is very annoying and if you forget to confirm TWICE you have a video in MKV at bitrate 2500.

Even in the paid version, the program annoys you by opening a window with an advertisement for Holiday. It cannot be turned off anywhere.

I have a collection of old movies and recordings that I'm eager to share with my family and friends at our upcoming gathering. The problem is that they are not playable on my Samsung TV, which would be perfect for a group viewing experience instead of a tiny screen. Was interested in a lifetime license due to the addition of the AI enhancement tools. I attempted to use the AI tools to enhance a couple different video tape transfers. After 3+ hours of processing for 5 minutes of footage, the results were indistinguishable from the original. I also tried upscaling and there is almost zero difference down to the pixel level between source and output using the A/B comparison slider.

I purchased the AI version of VideoProc Converter 5 days ago and have been thoroughly impressed by its new AI Video Stabilization feature.
