Brain2cpu is known for handly little apps, so this one comes as a disappointment. Really just a few functions slapped together. Would have been alright several years ago, but just doesn't hold up to what's available today.

Makes sense to have Sunday as the last day of the week but that will cause me to make mistakes. Can Sunday be placed at the first day of the week?

Jim, there will be an option for this in future versions

Looked like an OK program but seems to be nothing much more than a basic calendar with a password manager......the latter which is not really much use without the associated browser plug-ins to allow a seamless interface.....the same lacking in password storage......without these I may as well simply use an excel spreadsheet on my PC with hyperlinks to the webpages

Also disappointing that there appears to be no way to import password data from other password managers

The scheduling & reminder features may be useful (although other apps/programs on my PC already do those things) but the password manager side of things is poor & disappointing

Could not import Windows contacts and Calender/events. With the amount of contacts I have in there and the amount of events listed already putting them in manually will take me days. If a simple import function can't even import the standard Windows lists this software is useless to me. Uninstalled

Stupid windows would not let me open the file I downloaded, this is stupid since most of what I get from Giveaway is a good thing. So disappointed.

Rebecca Haughn, you need to tell the Windows system that you are happy to accept the installation & it will install......not sure it is worth the effort though....when you get the block message click details & then allow

Hi

This looks like a good program but I have encountered a problem.

The first time I clicked on the Password tab, it asked me for a master password, which I entered. Then when I tried to access the Password tab, it asked for the password which I entered but and an alert popped up, "Must enter a valid master password to access this page". It wouldn't accept it.

I thought maybe I had mis-typed my password so uninstalled the program and reinstalled, but the same thing happened.

I am now unable to access the password page.

Any ideas?

Joel, the default (initial) password is
TotalReminder
you can / should change it in Tools -> Options -> Master password

I'm always looking for a 'modern' replacement for my 20+ year old Lotus Organizer 6. One of the requirements for the new program is that it be able to import my existing files so I don't have to re-enter all that data. This program was unable to do that. Otherwise, this program downloaded, installed and registered without problem. Thanks GOTD but I must uninstall.

Shen, I hope you're not holding out for something that will be able to import your 20+ year old data files! With each passing year I fear your chances of finding something like that decrease dramatically.
Maybe you could write something yourself, and GiveItAwayHere!
PS: Did they export files to .rtf's 20 years ago?

charlie, rtf (Rich Text Format) is developed by Microsoft in 1987 so it is 30 years old, yes email programs and calendars back then exported in rtf. that said, it can't even import my windows 10 data. I uninstalled as well

Reg, did you enter or import any contact?

Reply   |   Comment by Dev  –  9 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+3)

Dev,
I entered the info manually. Did not import.

Reply   |   Comment by Reg  –  9 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+2)

Reg, so you entered some contacts and the contact list in the main window is empty? The filters below the list are empty? Try switch active-inactive filter.

Dev,
Thank you fore trying to help, but I will just delete the program... Either I got a glitch when I downloaded ore the program just doesn't work. Don't wish to spend more time on it.
