Even with "Enable Copy Protection" checked, the file can be copied and played from another folder albeit via the player and by entering the password. The flag description implies/says that it can only be played from the output folder.

My ISP does does let anyone send VIDEO files, EXE file, or any other specialty format. Is there an agreement with the major ISPs to support this format? (ie. in Canada: Bell, Rogers etc)

Why don't you just change the .exe extension into any other extension like .jpg for example ? No problem with sending picture files, right. Of course you have to tell your correspondant to change it back to .exe

I guess the biggest downside with this is that Gem is a pretty obscure format, although Corel Draw recognizes it, and due to the abidance of malware these days people are leery of running exe. files. I remember when using exe files was the method of choice for slide shows.
