I downloaded and installed the software, and I went to the link of "Fill in the form below to get the activation code for Spreeder CX" ... I wrote my name and email, but unfortunately, I didn't get any license or activation key! :(

Can you please help?

When I install it starts and at a stage it says verify download and exits.

I have tried many times even with a PC Restart/disable antivirus but can't install.
I am using windows 8.1 64 bit

I don't like programs you have to log in to use , could be privacy issues involved & too many unwanted pop-ups & spam , I downloaded this program , but will cancel it , I think it should be a program you could use off- line , very dissappointing.

I don't see anything wrong with this software despite the negative reviews. It works as intended, clean-neat interface. All book readers are somewhat neat and tidy people. I don't know what are people expecting, its a speed reader software, that's it. It can pause. People are always so critical, negative on free stuff. Someone was talking about pictures too ? lol, speed reading with pics.

I haven't recieved my License. Did all the steps and my license is yet to be sent to my E-mail. Deleting Facebook post becuase my license has not beeen recieved

Would love to give this program a try... however setup runs but apparently does nothing -- not even an error message. Got the key, but no program to try --- Win 10 64bit pre update

As is so often the case these days, loads of positive votes and yet just about all the comments are negative.

Almost as though there are a few(!) false votes being registered. Perish the thought!

I have it installed on xp virtual machine it requires adobe air runtime, it won't install without it, the program itself needs the internet connection, when you run it for the first time you should sing up with your email or log in if you have already, and it needs the internet connection every time you run, if not, it will show an error message with the only option "try again" so it's impossible to work offline.

Maybe a good software but i cannot install it.
I had got the licence, but the setup doesn't works on my Win 10 x64.
I can see a windows but the setup close and nothing is intalled.

After receiving the license key, I wanted to try the versions for Chrome OS and Linux...but cannot locate them for installation.

Tried 3x but no way how yo run it. My name is not recognized by the software. No problem with password, but with my name.

Read the description and the other comments and decided to install out of curiosity and straight off can't say it had any sort of WOW factor, not for myself anyway and I couldn't think of any reason why I'd want to use this type of software. However, I do think it would be a great tool for kids just learning to read, but I don't have any kids that young to test it on. I haven't tested it out properly so won't comment of the software's ability to do things but for some this may be a good learning aid.

Very bad form!

1. the link to get the license/serial or whatever doesn't send an key. 2 browsers, and 3 email s used, and still no registration key.

2. the software does not allow me to name the directory. it defaults to its file folder name, though it does allow customization

3. It requires users to register in order to use, that is OK, but to log in to use a local software, is an invasion of privacy. They don't need to know what I read. This is an invasion and not worth the effort to continue.

It is impossible to test without giving the company far more information than they need or deserve, and demonstrable inability to deliver even a registration key means this publisher is not focused on delivering a quality product, and quality products have great UX, this does not.

At some stage you neee to pause for a moment to think about what you have read before continuing to read more text, but this program does not know when you want to pause.
There are also times that you want to read a sentence immediately again to be sure that you understood the sentence. Having one word appear on the screen at a time prevents this.

Doesn't install on my Win7 SP1 x64. The installer starts, then closes almost immediately without error message. Unusable.

This is a pure text reader, popping one word at a time in the middle of the screen, no page context, no browsing, no flipping through the book, no going back and forth, no skipping ahead, nothing like you have ever experienced before.

You get information all right ... like stuffing a goose.

My brain feels like pâté.

Maybe I can rig it to a heads-up display on my windshield while I'm driving ... I am staring straight forward all the time anyway, right -- might as well get some reading done in rush hour bumper-to-bumper.

Anyone can read fast, and in 'fast' I mean much faster the one read usually. the problem is not 'the reading' not 'reducing eye movement' the problem is in understanding what one read and in the ability to recall what one read.
The trick is to be able to read faster and understand what you read like you would if reading slowly. for that, this application is not good enough and I am afraid that to achieve it, one needs to go to study with a qualified instructor.
