I'm impressed that this app actually rotates videos that somehow got recorded sideways in my phone. It looks like it's going to leave a big border around the video, but it doesn't. Most of the other software I've tried will screw up the video when I try to rotate it.

Installed fine - BUT the conversion is as big as the original file - Doesn't do me any good - I'm trying to save space from large video files, but this doesn't do a thing for me.

Short answer -- you probably had the bit rate set too high.
The size of a video file depends on several things that you control through the encoding settings. The 3 most obvious are the video's length, its frame size, and the frame rate -- the more frames you have, & the bigger the frame, the more data that has to be stored, and the more data in a file, the larger that file will be. Next you choose the encoder for the audio & video -- some encoding formats are more efficient, in terms of how much it will reduce the file size, but there are tradeoffs... lossless codecs [COmpressor DECompressor] are great for editing, but file sizes tend to be huge -- more efficient codecs like H.264 & H.265 for video and AAC for audio result in smaller files, but aren't great for editing and require more processing horsepower to encode & play. And last comes the bit rate -- the higher the bit rate the better the quality but also the larger the file. DO note however that those are just the basics -- there can be loads of additional encoding settings effecting quality, processing load, and player compatibility, though in an effort to keep things simple, many apps will limit how many of those settings you can access.

How are you supposed to enter your email, WHEN there is NO place to enter it!...Please HELP!!!...

The email field isn't viewable in the first "register" window that opens for some reason. You can click in the "Key" field that is available and then click the [Tab] key a couple of times until the focus disapears and then type your email address. You won't be able to see it as you type it, but when you click the button to continue, it'll work and you can go to the web page to get the key. After doing all that, the software still doesn't appear to be registered. You still have to click on "register" at the top of the software and enter the key again.

Thomas Roberts, if you've previously registered with Soft Orbits for another giveaway, your email will be pre-filled on the page that opens after clicking "Get activation key". It was for me anyway. However, that page then says check your email, but it never actually sent me the key - and no it's not in junk or spam folders either.
