The program never registered despite saying it was. Now it says trial version

A few months ago, I downloaded and installed Reg Organizer 7.30 as a "giveawayoftheday".
It offered a lot of "interesting" choices - cleaning, tweaking, compressing, optimizing Registry, etc., but...

After I optimized the Windows 10 computer with Reg Organizer, I could not open my Action Center, I could not left-click on Start Button, I could not left-click on window explorer icon on the task bar, I could not find Sandboxie menu if I right-clicked on Firefox desktop icon, etc...
I've explored and accomplished so many various tasks to fix my computer but NOTHING worked.
Eventually, I decided to create a new profile instead of "refreshing" Windows 10.
As I said, it happened several weeks ago. Somehow, I forgot about it and allowed Reg Organizer to OPTIMIZE my new profile....
Guess what happened?
Yes, Reg Optimizer did it again on my new profile.
To sum up my comment.
Reg Optimizer looks really good and attractive but it COULD MESS UP your computer.
Please be careful!

The same company has a free registry tool, called, Registry Life. It repairs and defrags the registry. All the reviews that I could find, give it a fairly high rating. It works fine on my windows 10 machine.

This program will find 100's of registry errors. How do you know which are valid? Make a backup before using.

I get real nervous whenever a registry editor offers to "purge unnecessary data". My programs stop working after my registry is "cleaned". No thank you.
