Admin, I turned off all settings on edge and redone the download again opened another window and still only get the download page nothing to get registration & I like to try this out as i used have paid version some years back & used it for recording shows i liked to watch

Previously, there was a program, even for XP, capturing streaming video (even if it goes live), and it was recorded in TS, the resulting file was large, but with high-quality video.

There is a simple reason why I will not test today's giveaway, nor search for freeware alternatives: I bought a lifetime licence for FastStone Capture nine years ago. I paid less than $20 and can use it on all my Windows machines. Presently, I use the portable version of 10.5. That version is less than a month old. So that shows FSCapture is updated regularly. And the price is still the same. I do not need more features.
One of the new features of 10.5 is Capture Text. Instead of manually typing text from a screenshot, this feature can extract the text and make it editable instantly, saving time and effort. It requires Windows 10/11.
An older freeware version still is available.

When installing select Custom Install so you can choose to agree to joining customer experience improvement program or not, you are opted in by default and not warned if you install normally. Of course custom install also allows you to choose installation path too. It also has some form of overzealous protection system like Themidia and reports on one of my systems that "a debugger has been found running on your system. Please unload it from memory and restart your program." Technically there is no debugger running on the system in question... hence me calling it an overzealous protection system! Also why does a screen grabber need to run as an elevated administrator? That should NOT be required and is a sign of bad coding practice IMHO.

TK, I got my code by opening the Giveaway page and typing /get-key/ manually at the right end of the url in the browser. If I use the link provided in the readme, I get the same error report you got. But by typing the last part of the url myself, everything went fine.

gergn, maybe it's misinterpreting the CPU having hardware virtualisation enabled in the systems BIOS... I would not have thought so as that is the default setting on modern machines... we can only guess while using closed source programs and the developers are tight lipped about what they are doing on our machines.
