OKmusi Team offer an option to leave the audio in the native format it is downloaded in which will be m4a for youtube and will be better quality than forcing the end user to re-code into an always lossy format that will always quantifiably degrade the audio like MP3 when there is NO need in most modern scenarios.

This is a great downloader - I highly recommend it.

Gives options for dowloading videos in various qualities from 240p to 1080p (giving you the filesize as well), as well as the option to download the subtitle file. Both MP3s and videos dowload very fast.

The best downloader I have come across (and I've tried lots!)

Thank you for your comment. There are so many downloaders I tend to ignore them and was going to do the same with this, but you're making me reconsider. You say that you've tried lots. Have you tried the always free aTubeCatcher? It's been my go-to for the last few years. Once you skip all the suggested bloatware on install it works well enough for me. There have been a relative handful of videos where it would always freeze up, and for those I would have to find some online downloader site that worked.

If you've tried aTubeCatcher, could you please make a quick comment on how the OKMusi product offered today compares with it. If this is better, I'm certainly willing to make a move.

Joel Malach, why is downloading an M4A sound file from youtube and forcing lossy conversion to worse MP3 a good thing? I think it is not good at all!
