Format Factory is a free tool for converting between various formats. I haven't compared with the current offering, however, I have over the years found it work better than other tools offering similar capabilities.

Lacking basic photo editing of multiple used formats. Such as HEIC. When adding multiple items when it gets over a set amount it crashes.

Very basic Windows 7 style setup and UI
