Works with iOS 8.1.2. iphone 6. But it keeps a while for showing the SMS. A outstanding product.

Even though many comments above said that it is useless, but I tried it on my Windows 8.0 64bit, and it works well. Contacts, messages have been detected and exported to my computer with 1 click. Awesome tool for me!

Okay, just doing fine transferring ringtones on my 5s. Definitely a nice program for me. It would be better if it takes less time. Thanks.

The voting is hilarious, like the german "translation" from this tool today, that is what it looks like when it gets faked, obviously.

Still don't like backup using iCloud as it need internet connection. Not safe for my data. Maybe I am a little cautious. However, this program does not need any internet connection. Clean, Safe. Trust.

Try Moborobo instead http://www.moborobo.com/ . It's free and works for both, Android and iphone. Not sure if it will work with ipod, but I think it should.

i have an iphone 4. it apparently doesn't work with an old iphone/ios. when i unplugged the phone i could see that some of my things had transferred: for instance i could see my contact names and phone numbers were there.

prior to my unplugging the phone, it said i had to have itunes installed and my device connected. i had both of these but it said it couldn't work.

Reply   |   Comment by hunter  –  9 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

i'm responding to what i wrote above. i was rechecking what they said about the program, and it says it works with these iphone versions:

iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C/5, iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3

in that case, i'm wondering why it says the program isn't connected (when i have both itunes and my phone plugged into the computer).

it seems a couple others have had the same problem..

I installed on Vista Home Premium. It looks okay but I don't see anywhere that I can transfer and save any of my text conversations. I would really like to be able to do this. Anyone know if that's still possible with this software or if I need a different program to transfer complete text conversations from my iPhone 4S? Thanks everyone...

"System Requirements: Windows XP/ Vista/ 7/ 8; Processor: 750MHz Intel or AMD; RAM: 512MB or above; Hard Disk Space: 1 GB or more"

Nope. Wrong.

For something like ten days or so GOTD's Themida wrapper is broken on Windows XP. I get the error: "Failed to connect. Please try again later." Both with Setup.exe and Activate.exe files.

I've read more people experiencing this. I now have to run things on a W7 or W8 machine and then move things to the XP machine. And yeah I know how. People who could do this before the Themida wrapper still know how to do this so the whole Themida thing is just an unnecessary nuisance anyway.

Is GOTD planning to fix this any time soon or are they 'flipping the bird' to XP users?

Successfully installed MobiKin Assistant for iOS. Thanks GOTD. I have been looking for such program for a period of time, but in most situations they are not charged in the ideal price in my mind. This program has a competitive price and I have used it to export music from my iPod touch to PC. Good job!

Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system. A clean install.
Connect iPhone 5S to the computer and the program can detect the device at once. Files on iPhone can be managed in categories. Easy to export up to 15 types of files from iDevice like iPhone, iPad and iPod to computer. But it is not allowed to edit the iPhone contents directly, such as delete, add or modify data. So I think the function of this tool is closer to a iOS Transfer program but not assistant.

Could you (Richard) please answer the question about contacts/etc not showing up? I can only see Music, Books, Playlists, Voice Memos and Camera Roll. It works so well for exporting what I can see so far that I would really like to know what's keeping the others from working. I've got the latest iTunes, iOS 8.3, iPhone 5s, all in good order. --Thanks.

Easy installed, works fine but needs iTunes as basic program. And that’s the first problem, I couldn’t find any function going behind the properties of iTunes/Windows explorer. Next, “You can save exported contacts, SMS, notes and safari bookmarks in HTML format on your computer.”, I could find export only for music, books, lists, memos, movies and pictures. There is no possibility to export contacts, notes, SMS nor bookmarks. Also mail export is missing. Moreover, I have a kindle app – also there is no export property.
“Manage and control the transferred iOS contents on the local hard disk without any limitations: delete, remove, or add any file on your computer as you like.” Okay, managing of these data on my PC is easy, much better it would be if I could manage these data on my iPhone/iPad, but there is only a one-way-transfer possible.
There is nothing really better than in the necessary basic programs, so why is this program available for $39.95?
Fine is that this program doesn’t cover my registry with rubbish.

Could not get product to register. After several attempts to enter a mile-long keycode, and very carefully, mind you, I gave up and uninstalled via Smarty Uninstaller. Not worth the hassle. This might be a good piece of software but I'll never know. YMMV Good luck.

Just seems to show me what I see in iTunes plus the Camera Roll. No sign of useful stuff like Messages. Not impressed.
(Installed fine though.)

Okay, it says you can do SMS and Contacts, I just couldn't find them in three minutes of looking around...

Ah, I see from their Step-by-Step guide I should have icons for Contacts/Messages/Notes/Safari. I have none of those. Perhaps it doesn't like iOS 8.3 (which I'm running on my 5s). So seems like my original post is correct and it can't do these - maybe if you have an old version of iOS on your device? I'd say don't bother as it doesn't give you anything useful... I'm going with a thumbs-down...

Well, this giveaway isn't that awesome, that I'll bring an iPhone into our household. However, I wonder, how comes, third party software should be necessary for a price set at 40$ ??? I'll follow the string to see, if I have missed something. Afterall I'm an android device user. At last it'll give me a unique opportunity to get at peek into the exclusive World of the iPhone users. My guess is, that this software can be compared with HiSuite, which is for free, if you're just a poor android user.....as I am. Anyway thanks for the offer :-)

Mmmmm, works well. A great tool to backup data from iDevice to PC with few clicks. But if you wish to manage the iPhone data in the program, then the present version may be not able to satisfy your needs. I got iStonsoft Android File Manager for my Samsung GALAXY S5 to manage Android date on pc. But this software has never done a giveaway. But I know a 50% coupon code to get it..

Can anyone tell how long the license included with this program is good for? 30 days? 90 days? Or 1 year?

Reply   |   Comment by Frank Schwartz  –  9 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+28)

Downloaded ok on Windows 7. Seems to do what it says on the tin. You do need Itunes on the computer to get past the opening splash screen apparently and the Ios device- in my case Ipad air2- connected to the computer. Then you can easily get at the files as mentioned in the blurb. There is no mention anywhere that I can see of |Licence limitation. I assume therefore that it's the usual GOTD lifetime licence but with no updates and no support. Do folk get confused by the standard phrase 'time limited offer' on the GOTD info paragraph! it means the OFFER is time limited- not the offering!
This seems to work well. Keeper. Have a good day

There's nowhere on this page, during installation or even post installation to say there are any restrictions on the software so it would appear not to have a time-limited licence and be for life.
