6 month license

After looking at MiniTool MovieMaker 5.4.0, it is good. I Like the look and feel. Filmora has same look and feel with more options overall. MiniTool MovieMaker is a good beginners software. I'm not really a fan of a 6 month free license in which they want you to become a paying customer after hooking you on their software. However, this is the going trick now a days.

So many Movie Makers out there. I've tried a bunch of them. Key to any of them is learning how to use. One of my Favs is Wondershare Filmora. I've tried this one in the past, gonna try it again to see what may be new.

This is a nice basic movie maker. It comes with 9 templates. When registered the titlebar shows (Monthly). If you go to their website they show a breakdown of features between their free, monthly, etc subscriptions. Export max resolution is 1080p video. A quick test showed that exporting to MP4 was quick and it used my GPU for encoding. I didn't see advance features like stabilization but there were basic transitions and effects. You be the judge if you prefer the old MovieMaker that was bundled with Windows, this offering or the free DaVinci Resolve.

With all the free software out there, it's hard to justify paying a monthly fee unless you make vids for a living, and the program really offers something amazing no other program does. If my livelihood depended on such tech, I might try out the program. As it doesn't, and I probably won't make one within the free timeline, I'll pass.

I'll make my movies the way I have always done it. Easy to use, without tirelatins. Also worked with subtitles and that through a free program that cannot handle H265. I have a solution for, something from Digiarty! And then advertising for NCH software?

So many thumbs down and no comments! Have to think its a rival company that does not know how to leave reviews.

keith, the worst is when it has a lot of thumbs up placed by the company that sells the software itself
