Alexey,

first: thanks for making this really great-looking program available for free, I hope it benefits your company greatly.

second: "In my humble opinion, if you are given a chance to get something for free you should use it in as much as you can. If you weren’t hurry and didn’t get something useful for free - C’est la vie."

I've downloaded and installed a great many giveaways-of-the-day, but this is the first time I can recall where I had to "activate" the software twice on the Giveaway Day. I don't recall any mention in the activation program that said I must run the software THAT DAY. A little heads-up would have gone a long way...perhaps next time?

thanks again.

peace,

bud

What a load of crap program!! I downloaded and installed and activated within the time frame. Finally go to try the program today and it tells me I need to register the license key with iSpring, but when try to says number of activations for this key is exceeded!!Why deliver a product that does NOT work as advertised!!!???

You should have activated the program within PowerPoint during Giveaway Offer. Moreover this period was prolonged for extra 15-16 extra hours.

We are sorry about this inconvenience, but:
This step (the activation within PowerPoint) was made to prevent software piracy - there are unfair people who exploit the giveaway web site by redistributing giveaway versions of programs (with registry keys) after the giveaway period is over.

In my humble opinion, if you are given a chance to get something for free you should use it in as much as you can. If you weren't hurry and didn't get something useful for free - C'est la vie.
There are 6912 people who successfully activated iSpring Pro in time. We are sorry that you are not among them.

But if you really need iSpring Pro, you can purchase it.

@92 CM Boisse...You could not be more wrong and you should check your knowledge base before posting critical information. The WindowsXP Professional operating system is available in both 32 and 64-bit versions. If you ever need question your source; you might check your information with a simply web search. I don't give advice, but here's something that works for me...DON'T GIVE ADVICE!

Vista 64 - Installed fine, I used it to make one demo (it was great). Afterward, it left its shortcut on my desktop which told me to go start PowerPoint... that sounded redundant, so I moved it (I'm not one to delete anything) to its folder in the program files. Bad move..

Vista did nag UAC thing, I accepted, and now the program won't work. I have no idea what happened, but I'm very, very, sad.. I feel like the little baby who had his candy snatched away..

To others who installed this - don't touch that desktop icon!! (even if you think it has no function).

For what it's worth...

I installed this on XP SP3 just fine - with Microsoft Office 2003.

Then I went to Staples tonight and upgraded to Microsoft Office 2007.

iSpring Pro was automatically added to my new version of PowerPoint.

**NOTE** When I installed iSpring Pro the first time, it did not ask me to activate. It wasn't until I tried to publish a presentation...
Just a heads up in case it has to be activated today (which it usually does).

Fantastic software! Thank GAOTD and iSpring Team!!!

I rarely add a second comment but today's giveaway and forum compel me to do so.

First, I am very impressed with the fact that the developer is monitoring the forum as the giveaway is on the table. I've seen sporatic comments offered by developers in the past, but never the constant stream of FAQs and troubleshooting help such as I've witnessed today. This is such an unusual event that I fear a trend may be expected. I can see it already..."why can't we have another giveaway like the iSpring one?"...So Mr. Malov....you may have outdone yourself and put yourself at the top of the rankings. My hat is off to you for your enthusiastic representation of your product.

Secondly, I have been fiddling with this thing all day and I can't stop! It is by far the coolest add-in for PowerPoint that I've ever used. The inclusion is seamless and totally functional. I have been trying very hard to lock it up or break something...heck, I can't even make it burp. What I CAN make it do is produce some killer flashes in a short timeframe...it's very fast indeed.

If anyone out there is using PowerPoint or has any thought of doing so in the future...grab this offering and hang onto it. It's a real gem!

Thanks to all again for the gift!

@ 56 your answer to 32 or 64 - As I found out from installing an earlier GOTD all versions of XP run at 32 bit. Vista you have the option of 32 or 64.

I have downloaded and installed and registered. So far so good. I use open office and have read the comments. problem is. I cannot save project and upload to http://www.slideboom.com because each time I click on the ispring icon I get 'error power point is not installed'. There is obviously some simple way to address this problem. Any chance that one of the regular contributors can help. I really want to try this on my sites and would be grateful for any assistance
thanks

Been using this since the last time it was given away and simply love the program. I installed it on several of my computers that day (with different operating systems) and have never once encountered an error.

But, have gotten many compliments on the items I put together with the program! Thanks so much to the iSpring team!

would never bring it up before, but now, I’ve run into this before with the flash giveaways and now this one as follows:
ERROR
F:\Downloads\Pro\ispring2003.dll
unable to register the dll/.Ocx: RegSvr32 failed with exit code 0×3

Make sure you are running the software under the administrator privileges.
Make sure your OS is Windows 2000 or later (no WinME or 98)

Make sure your PC is not infected by viruses - some viruses which integrate into windows shell can cause such problems and ... Try to reboot and install the software again :)

I just wanted to thank GAOTD for bringing this software at this time for me. I just started a class learning power point, this will be useful. I also wanted to thank those who wrote on how to finish activation in power point itself. I would have missed that as it wasn't in the instructions. I have power point 2007, no problems at all.

I know the RegSvr32.exe routine has a problem registering the 32-bit .dll, but, why? I opened the dnld file; activated the key and decompressed to get the INSTALL; installed successfully, almost, unto THIS ERROR readout. Had this prob before with Sothink flash giveaways along with nags about Adobe Flash player not being installed (as if) into my FF and MS browsers. Trying to install on an USB flash drive with XPsp2 32bit mach. I get the GAOTD "successful activation" page... I always install to the USB stick without fail...except these SWF pgms...any ideas, anyone? thanks.

Have been using verson 3 for sometime and thrill to catch the new version. I create educational games for personal use in PowerPoint and use iSpring to convert to flash. My games play much more fluent than running it through PowerPoint and you only need a flash player to run them.
It has many options, you can select none to hide the player and you can make an exe file or html page. Just make sure you check the setting page before converting to insure the slide progress the way you want it.
After activating with the activate file, I still had to run an activate withing the program.

Many thanks to GOTD and iSpring Solutions for this software. I have
the previous giveaway iSpring 3.5.
Downloaded and installed smoothly on WinXP SP3. After running Setup.exe
to install the program, I can see both versions showing in Powerpoint (do I delete the older version?). I did have to activate again by clicking the activate button in the About section of the product toolbar in order to register. Some more free templates are available on their website at http://www.ispringsolutions.com/products/ppt_templates.html

Installed with no problems on XP with SP3 with 1GB ram. Ran the activation prog, and then clicked on activate now within PPT the first time I used it - no glitches.

Took 15 seconds to convert a (simple) 8 page presentation which runs perfectly. Very easy with "Quick Publish" and easy but more versatile with "Publish"

Thank you GAoD and ISpring!. I'm looking forward to creating photo slide shows for my websites with audio and music!

I agree with comments I saw a day or two ago - if you don't want/need a program then don't vote. If you vote then give reasons. If a program has limits don't complain - get onto the developers and offer to pay for a version that has the limitations solved! Don't slag off developers who are willing to offer a freebie - if you don't like it, then don't have it - I'm reminded of the beggar in Fiddler on the Roof - complained that just because people he was begging from were having a tough time, why should he suffer?

I have successfully downloaded and am using with PPT 2007. The iSpring plug in shows, and after trying to activate it by clicking activate > Next... the screen for the iSprint Activation Wizard displays, yet nothing happens.

I've shut down and reopened, all with the same result of NOT BEING ABLE TO ACTIVATE IT. I'm running XP XP2, for what it's worth.

Please provide info on how to activate. Thanks.

Excellent Product.
I have been using it since it was offered the last time (Version 3.5) in August 2008. After downloading it, I ran it and it installed just fine. I checked the version in my PowerPoint and noticed that it had been upgraded to V4.1) I then clicked on the "Register" and found my old Serial No. still intact and it was registered under the name GAOTD (still intact). I then clicked activate and it is activated to V4.1.2601 - it was shown on my screen and I was taken to their website. So I need not use the Activate 32 Button included in the download. I am using Win XP Pro SP3 (32).
Great program. Thank you GAOTD and iSpring for the wonderful offer.

When I use insert flash function, flash files (.swf extensions) get inserted and they play well. But when I save the powerpoint and close the powerpoint and then reopen the powerpoint I find that the flash files do not play anymore. I run Windows XP home SP3. Can you please tell me what is wrong? Thank You
Not every Flash object can work properly being embedded into another Flash movie.
Try to check the "Detach Embedded Flash Movie" option in the Media tab of the Publish window

I have been using the free version, thanks for this. One question for those that have used this more than I have (which should be just about everyone).
Can you save a PPT to SWF and not have the player buttons? I would like to just have a plain video as I never need any user input on my presentations. I no longer use Power Point for presentations a s I now use Powerdirector from Cyberlink, but I have tons of old presentations I would just like to convert to a video with no player nuttons showing on the bottom.
