Giveawayoftheday censor is deleting negative comments about this software.
I actually tried it on 1 Gig of photos and even though it said it had recovered them none were able to be opened with any program I had on my computer.
It did a very good job of finding files on my hard drive that were not lost or needing to be recovered.
I have not found a program that will restore / recover my photos that were deleted with shift delete.
Many programs have been tried and all say they have recovered the photos but none have been recovered to a state that they can be viewed

Installation was a breeze, and getting the registration key without having to create an account, give up an email address, etc. was nice.

It may be a great program but when I first ran it and pressed next, the next screen was "rebuilding partition." Rather than jumping into that action without forewarning, the program should give an option to rebuild a partition, or various identified deleted or damaged partitions, and a quick note of information to help people make informed decisions concerning the exercise of the option.

Additionally, rather than having c-drive installation recommended during the installation it would be nice if the program recommended installation to a flash drive.

Installed and registered with ease: Reg key on webpage in text file.

Took some time to get going but looks OK up to that point.

Went to the iBoysoft giveaway page, and it showed how many hours (7+, just now) left for the giveaway and a license key below the timer. Went to their home page, downloaded the windows program and loaded it into my computer. The giveaway page needed to be reloaded for the license, [I could of just copied and pasted that license into a text file, but what is the fun of doing it the easy way, ;-) ]. So the giveaway page disappears, no problem, hit reload, comes back with the code. Copy key and paste it into the program, and activate, and it shows registered.

Close program, restart Data Recovery Home, go to "about" and it shows Home 3.2, close giveaway page in browser (which is using Edge browser, just incase you where curious as to which one). Easy Peasy, as I have a 2TB USB external drive I need to recover "stuff" from, and hopefully I will find this useful for that as it is not encrypted. No idea why so many seem to find problems in doing just the above and confirming it is activated.

Thanks iBoysoft and GOTD for this program, as it is just what I needed at the right time!

However, no change is made in the program once registration completes, so it keeps on being possible to enter the activation code ad nauseum with no transformation of the product to say it's a full version, still "the free version."

The supplied licence key on their home page does not work

It would seem that the description for the software isn't quite accurate. While is seems to work quite well in recovering things, the description would lead you to believe that it can also recover Bitlocker encrypted drives, which isn't exactly the truth.

While the software apparently is capable of doing this, the HOME edition they are giving away today IS NOT. You would need to upgrade to the PROFESSIONAL edition for this functionality as well as the ability to use the software under a Windows server environment.

Aside from that, the very limited testing I have done so far has been successful in recovering deleted items. It's worth grabbing if you don't already have something that does recovery already.

I have emailed iBoysoft support to see what is going on. When clicking on the linked URL, there is no indication of, no how or where to get a licence key, so have inquired.

To me, there is something abnormal/unusual with the activation/registration process of this software item. Whether obtained by e-mail or found on the page indicated, the license key entered in the Activation field is accepted but if you do this again when re-starting the program, the Activation field appears void again. All in all, I do not know how to make certain that the activation/registration has worked for sure.

Check did that and looked it over - in 3 different browsers.
Why use 3 browsers, Trying to find what they claim will be there,
"fill in your email address and click "Download and get license key" button."
Can not find anywhere on the page to enter an email address, which is why I tried it in 3 browsers.
Even when I follow the read more link, it's just a download of the free version and still nowhere can I find a "Download and get license key" button."
What am I missing?
I know I'm not the swiftest oar in the water, but I can normally spot a download button. I did download the software and read the 'read me' file so I'm not completely blind and stupid.
Anyone have any suggestions?

There isn't any message denoting that this giveaway license is Lifetime License!

Successfully downloaded the program, but received no order confirmation email.
Please help insolving this issue.

Adding on to my #8 comment below, still nothing from support; download get license button DOES NOT work on your web site. It has now been 1 hour and 10 minutes.

Put my email address in on your page for GOTD the button Download & get license key does not work. I will check later if I can get the key I will test program.

I have the same problem as others - the registration page does not work. The green button does not show as a "link". nothing happens when clicked on it. If you can't get the web page to work right how good is the program you are pushing?

Downloaded and installed without problems. When running the program, it was already registeredand I did not have to enter the key.
For those encountering problems after trying to download the license key: check your" junk mail" folder !

Nice utility. I keep several utilities like this one on hand in case of emergencies. Last thing I want to do if a drive dies or serious crash occurs is start looking for a solution to recover data or repair a volume. Thank you so much.

Well, I did get a free license key in seconds. But I met some problems caused by my fool behavior. Fortunately, I contact their support team and they are very nice to give me support with profession and patience! I successfully get the deleted college photos from my SD card. Amazing! I would never know I can get my pictures back until this software. Thanks for the giveaway! Nice software! You guys are playing the magic!

Did exactly as the readme says, got a code in seconds, inserted code and prog says this licence key has already been registered.
