Easy DL, install, launch. Have yet to mess with insides but looks decent enough for video work. Can imagine there's a way to convert individual images of a finished product into individual GIF (s). Thanks guys. Geez 6 reCAPTCHA

Thank you. I like it and its good fun, but I have some problems. OK is might be me, if so I would like to know what I am doing wrong.
Not tried recording the screen as yet, but when I import a video it crashes when I try to trim. Without trimming, and going directly to convert, the conversion looses the aspect ratio. It would seem the only way to fix this is to experiment with the height and width. Any help would be appreciated.

i get server error. i do wonder whether these gaotd's are just used for testing rather than promoting. far too many have registration or server errors or other issues. in the real world when i have paid for well known software i never get any problem. the only software issues i ever get are on here.

john richards, it means the installer is not getting Internet connection. Usually caused by anti-virus or firewall who don't allow the connection.

Problem with installation from the UK.
Set VPN to USA and it installed, strange, right, who would have thnuk that there were humans living beyond the borders of America.

Ian C, maybe pcwinsoft.com is being blocked in your region. I wouldn't know why

Looking forward to testing this, but, in running Setup.exe, after choosing English, it always puts up a message:
"Error while communicating with the server. Installation will now abort."

Update: waited half an hour and now it installs fine. :)

Ray, if you have a VPN, I found changing it to USA did the trick.
Of course it might just have connected anyway on the fifth try, but the time spent to change VPN to the States gave the impression that it worked, and that was the issue.

Thanks for the easy to install, lifetime licensed and pre-activated, giveaway! This is the easiest to install and run - no hoops to jump through or accounts to make to get it running. It even installed from inside the zip file and save the extraction step!
That's all much appreciated.
It does what it claims, but is still not up my needed for a gif animator program, so I'll leave a suggestion here (I have never gotten idea informer to work!!) (has anyone?). Anyway... I'm an artist and do a lot of animation. This tool makes it overly complicated to render gifs from my work because I render image sequences and this only works with video input.
Please include image sequence support for the next version and it may be worth buying for me. I'm still using my Ancient copy of ULead gif Animator 5. I have never seen a better gif animation program (thus why I still use it and have installed it on my last 7 or 8 computers).
Thanks again for a painless install and the lifetime license! While it works just fine for videos it's still borderline useless for my workflow. If only it were able to do what I need this would be a favorite program.

David Jaynes,
Thank you for your feedback and information about ULead gif Animator 5. It's recommendations like you made about other software that I look for when reading these comments. Much appreciated.
I easily found a freeware version of ULead gif Animator 5.11, which when tested was totally free of adware and other more vicious malware. Again, thank you.

David Jaynes, you mean creating a gif based on images you provide, is that it?

Alessandro Ferri, yes. Programs that people use for animation output an image title, followed by a sequence of numbers like x0001 through x9999 and almost all good video editors will read the first image and recognize it as a sequence. The import feature on this program is limited to video formats. Useful, but not good enough for my needs.
Hope that helps.
