You need more desktop space but don't have the possibility to add more monitors? This is the perfect program for you. When you push your mouse cursor to the left or right border of your screen you will see that your windows simply scroll to the opposite direction creating more space for having many windows open next to each other.
There is an auto arrange option that automatically orders all you windows nicely next to each other and you can limit the virtual desktop space to the space that is used by your open windows so you don't get lost. Also you can open the overview display so you can see your whole extended virtual desktop. If you have specific tools on your desktop that you don't want to scroll then you can exclude them from the scrolling windows list.

Reminds me of my first computer an Osborne 1 that came with a 52 character display that scrolled to 80 characters.

Hmmm... Seems like a solution to a problem most people don't experience. I'm having a hard time seeing the benefit to being able to do this when there are plenty of other ways to switch from application to application.

It works just as advertised, and the download doesn't ask for my email or anything else.
I only have the space (and money) for one monitor on my PC. When I edit photos, I can open the editing program of my choice, then open my file manager program side by side, and move back and forth with the swipe off a click. I also play online games with other people, using a headset and a program named Discord. I can now flick the mouse to the side to open Discord, read or watch something, then move the mouse back to the game, which is faster.
