When you buy or rent a video from Zune Marketplace or Zune not free ?

Only the Zune Media Player is free. I believe that accessing content like movies or music from the store will require a purchase online.

The Zune Player on its own is a suitable alternative to the native Media Player in Windows. IMHO, it's particularly cool for listening to e-books.
