Is it just me, or did GOTD change stuff up again? Now it looks like they use double-column giveaway pages. It fits better on my screen (22" 16:10), but I'm used to the old layout, so it takes me a few seconds to find the download button. And apparently they changed the code for the Like button again.

(I don't like how the extended sidebar is moved below Idea Informer. I liked it better when it was off to the side, so that I didn't need to scroll over it. Idea Informer and it takes up a bit more than one page on my screen, so I think it's bad design.)

I can't say it's a chore... but there's definitely more on the page along with a different layout. You do have to look for the link to download. I knew it was there somewhere though. Firefox with "no script" helps alot.

looks the same to me I don't see the button or sidebar with Firefox with ABP, NoScript, RequestPolicy

Yes, I also saw the new layout - just as with anything else, it takes a little getting used to, but it's all good.
