I don't think it will work if you already own it (from an earlier free deal in my case). I tried to use the coupon while not logged on and it works; but as soon as I logged, it stopped the transaction saying I already owned the game (and could download again it from my account or some such) but it's good news for others.
I went back to the older Hallmark type promotions and used one offer for the second time, only choosing a game (Majong Towers of Eternity) that I had passed on the first time. It counted as as a 'Fest purchase which was just what I needed it for.
I hope they do a Decemberfest because with the two free ones from November and the Daily Deals, I'm buying some discounted games I like throughout the month in any case.

I have never actually paid to be in the Club. I cancel before the date they charge my credit card and then when I buy the next game, they auotmatically reenroll me. If it's a Daily deal, I can usually figure out the code. My understanding is that the Club credits don't expire but the promotional ones do (the ones I got today are good through Jan. 31st, 2010).

I'm sorry Dolores I don't understand your post. Where did you find this? And what is the "first" free game? BFG doesn't do a free game of the day, they do a Daily Deal which costs $2.99. There are some free games available with codes but you have to find those on other sites or from other people. Thanks for the clarification.

What Dolores means is that if you go to retailmenot again by clicking http://www.retailmenot.com/view/bigfishgames.com, you will find a coupon for the Azada game (5th from the top in the active coupons) which as presented does not work because the one posting it forgot a part of the code but the workaround (adding a missing letter) is posted in the comments (see to the right under the checkmark and the X buttons) for the coupon.

The workaround is valid (and legit) and it (ahem) works, I got my "free" game.

I see bigfish is now giving trials (though I doubt you could get one every 90 days like you could with Realarcade). Though I still wouldn't switch because Gamehouse gives you two credits for $9.99 and you only get 1 with Bigfish for $6.99. I don't think you get a trial with Gamehouse though.

Yes I see now that when you go into "Buy Game" there is an option to sign up for the Club free for 1 month so you don't have to guess the DD code anymore. It's still pretty easy. I guessed today's with no problem. The game is Redrum. I'll download it later because I hear it's a good game.

Yes, I like Gamehouse a lot. I only ever got a game off Realarcade and now Gamehouse (for pay). I had my problems with it before also, but not anymore. I don't believe there is any perfect game service. You can have problems with any of them.
2 games for $9.99 is a great deal. What is that almost $5.00 a game? It is even a better deal than Bigfish. It kind of stinks that they are not keeping that as an option. I think the reason they are doing that is because they don't want people canceling.
I just wish Gamehouse would get more games in and not take so long to get them in.
