what are the details on the program?
title, old author/ homepage, etc?
around june 2008 I see Daniusoft Digital Media Converter, Advanced Audio Recorder, and MagicScore School- all are still around, none seem to fit 'audio studio'- searching for that gives too many hits to sort.

Well, I finally got a chance to break away from rebuilding my main computer (got win2k and winxp to a good freeze point and ghosted 'em both) and did a bit of roaming through my dvd-r catalog, and I do believe I found what you were looking for- although what's currently offered as available may not be what you expected to find.
"My Audio Studio" (v2.0.0.1) was given away on July 23, 2009 (not '08) and comment #27 identified the base app as Audio Editor Deluxe. (click for site)
Though to be nit-picky about wording, what was given away on June 3, 2009 was MP3 Music Editor [site still up, latest release is version 4.5.7 (September 16, 2009) at 7.11 mb for $29.95- not a time or use limit, it's crippleware- can't output files] but the screenshot shows it's the same thing- same displays, buttons, functions.....
"My Audio Studio" just has a 'guide' GUI leading to different functions with overlay gui's to hide the main app unless you chose "audio editor"- then it's identical- see the screenshot of both running on my XP side with the guide running behind both:
with 'my audio studio' in audio editor mode and 'Audio Editor Deluxe' (current version 9.5.1) as it opens. All the features are there, according to the website, just not the fancy colors and big buttons to access them. Gotta RTFM.
Still $39.95 according to the website, $40 by the nag screen (site says 30 days trial, software says 9 uses- consistent, huh? who knows, maybe I read it wrong- I have better tools handy, so I may have skimmed over something) but downloads at 7.06 mb rather than the 14.7 megs the fancied-up version took. Dunno if you could wheedle the fancy version out of them or not.
There you go.
Ain't all gone, just crawled back in it's hole. FWIW, the gussied-up version left 6 registry entries, the current one only 3. <shrug> both insisted on installing windows media player 9 codecs. On a fully-loaded XP system.
Thus speaks the holy trinity of save every character, burn to dvd-r, and *catalog*!
