Please help me. I am going nuts. I have downloaded every application in the past few weeks and one of them is removing all of my start up applications from my start up folder and giving me a message that I need to reinstall them in order to put them back in my start up folder. What application from GOTD could be doing this so that I can find the setting in that application to stop it taking over my start up items? Thanks for any assistance you can give me! I love that I can get free applications here.

My guess is that you've got two start-up managers running.
Install Ccleaner, run it, click "Tools", click "Startup" and you'll get a list of programs that run at start-up. Is there any duplication in functionality? The Startup Programs Database might help if some of the entries aren't self-explanatory. If you find duplicates then "Disable" one, reboot, and see if that fixes your issue.
If you're unsure, then "Disable" all entries except your firewall and anti-virus and see if your problem goes away. You can then "Enable" entries to isolate the offending program.
If Ccleaner doesn't help resolve the problem then you'll need to install Autoruns. Backup your system before turning anything off in Autoruns as you can render your system unbootable if you disable the wrong entry. Ccleaner is completely safe, Autoruns can be dangerous. Look for programs that duplicate functionality.
