Hi I installed Starburn and the drive emulator and after a restart my desktop goes into a crash loop.... In other words the desktop will show, then I immediately get the ole Windows Explorer has experienced a problem and needs to close... I click ok, it closes, restarts. Then it starts that all over again. I uninstalled and then restarted but no good. Safe mode and system restore did the trick so now I am back to normal. Looks like a great program and it is too bad that I cannot seem to get around this fatal error. Thanks for the offer and I appreciate any help with this issue. I know that it is late and if this is missed it is cool. Thanks again.

Just a random stab in the dark - on the StarBurn website there is are several PDF documents available (right hand side of the page)
The first one lists all of the supported hardware - Does your Burner rate a mention?

Hey BuBBy.
Thanks for taking the time for all of this, must be a bit overwhelming. From here it looks like you have had one long day.
That was a great idea and I did check. My drive is a LITE-ON DVDRW LH-20A1H . And it is not on the list. I'm bettin' you are correct on this. Too bad I cannot just use the virtual part of the program.
Anyway thanks so much for putting in such a good show today, and for reminding me to read/check the paperwork...Posted 16 years ago # -
