I'm not familiar with any current Symantec software, but if you don't see the 1st message that the GOTD is activating, &/or if you never see the Wise installer window for AV WebCam Morpher, it could be because your security software is quarantining or deleting the GOTD setup files that are stored in memory -- I believe that's why hotdoge3 points to your Symantec software as a possible cause. Security software logs [assuming you can access them] should tell you what's going on, &/or hotdoge3's suggestions on where to look might help.
The way it should work is you expand the GOTD .zip file you downloaded -- I use 7-Zip to put the file's contents in a new folder. Next you'll see a message box as the GOTD setup.exe file contacts their server to make sure that particular offer is still available. Then you should see the setup window for whatever application or game was offered. The GOTD setup.exe for AV WebCam Morpher may be slightly broken -- normally after install another message window pops up with activation instructions, & closing that will bring up the GOTD web site in your browser, but in this case 2 setup files remained running during my tests in the XP Mode VM, needing to be closed manually via Task Mgr.
AFAIK the number of people that have problems installing GOTD offers is pretty small -- that isn't making light of your problems, but saying that any fix might apply only to your system, & take a bit of troubleshooting on your part. The 1st step should be reading the FAQ, checking the GOTD blog, & searching the forum, reading threads where others have reported problems -- that way you'll see all sorts of suggestions that might hopefully get things working for you.
