hmmm.. disabled firewall, disabled windows firewall. how come?

The activation server could be busy. Or there could be something else broken somewhere between you and the activation server.

Try a reboot & try again in 10-15 minutes.

activation could fail bcoz of internet explorer set to offline mode.open IE go to file-->uncheck work offline then activate again!
