Respect,
BigThunder1PS - This is only a suggestion for ptitcolibri78 to bridge the communication gap if needed via a translation service, which is what I used to cut and paste the response I posted here explaining this.

ptitcolibri78 here is asking for help with getting SearchMyDiscs in French; Apparently, it's a plug-in. Can anyone here help? I didn't get SearchMyDiscs so I the only thing I can do is translate. I speak both English and French fluently :>
---

Not sure which "plugin" is referring to - perhaps how to change the interface language from English to French.

After three "hangs" during installation (followed by three "ignores", the program did finish and appears to run and operate properly. However, it shows as "unregistered" and says it needs an activation code that begins with "0" and ends with "=" (if I remember correctly).
Since my efforts were well within the setup time limits, I sent emails to GOTD and to 10Strike but have had no response. I am quite sure that I properly followed the install procedure just as I have on other GOTD programs that are working very well. (Quick plug -- Direct Access is the best "across the board" Autotext program I have encountered!)
Is there any way to recover the registration code?
Thanks!

I downloaded and activated this program and when I tried to use it - NO registered product. I was BUMMED, but it happens, SO I GOT BRAVE AND I EMAILED THE COMPANY, (HAVE A COPY OF EMAIL) AND HE SAID He could NOT give me a registration, but would give me the software at a discount. So although I did have a free program and because of the rave reviews.. I PURCHASED IT!
IF ANYONE ELSE HAD THAT PROBLEM, i WILL TELL YOU WHO MESSAGED ME. it wasn't the EXACT solution I was hoping for, but I could honestly say that I am happy - better then FULL price...
My point. THANKS GAOTD for introducing this program, it is what i needed. and I told that that I appreciated that they offered the other programs and I was able to take advantage of their generosity of offering 3 more give aways along with the SearchMyDisks AND I REALLY FEEL LIKE I BENEFITTED! SO DID THEY - THEY HAVE A NEW CUSTOMER...and a content Customer...
THANKS ==
It sure is NICE to know that they took the time to listen and offered a great solution!
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
kARYLLE.iF YOU NEED THE DETAILS... I will accept emails
