To cut down on spam many e-mail servers whitelist/blacklist e-mail domains/senders. My ISP for example has user settings for your e-mail account(s) where you can control some of that filtering, &/or turn it off, but that's in addition to & has no effect on the actual e-mail servers themselves, which do their own filtering. 'Bout all you can do sometimes is use alternate e-mail addresses... It's gotten to the point that then we get the GOTD key from a company via e-mail, I'll automatically make the request using 2 or 3 e-mail addresses using different domains -- I haven't found one of mine that passes everything through. :-(

For those of us who are not afraid of getting some mails from Ashampoo:
You can get the full Ashampoo Burning Studio 10 for $ 7.99 and
the same price for an update for Snap 4 to Snap 5.Of course, you know that already.
Service letters are not always annoying ;)graylox

I'd expect the offers for Snap 5 to go lower once it's out a bit.

I agree, plus it's not much trouble to handle them either... I use Windows Live Mail -- easy to send e-mails from any sender to the spam folders where I can look at them whenever I have more time, plus you can delete all of a spam folder's contents by clicking a single "X" etc.
That said, as some of the comments on the regular GOTD page are concerned with DVD authoring &/or comparisons to the big two: Nero & Roxio, I wanted to add a bit of a reality check if I may as it relates to upgrading to the full version...
Ashampoo's Burning Studio gives you a nice, easy interface, but neither version will burn discs any better than most other burning software, & burning capabilities do not match ImgBurn, Nero, or Roxio -- that probably doesn't matter since most people don't need those extra capabilities. But don't upgrade thinking thinking that then you'll be able to do everything.
The full version Burning Studio gives you some fairly minor video DVD capabilities. I would categorize them as: If you want to do a single, simple, video DVD project, with no intentions of ever doing it again, you could be happy using the full version of Burning Studio you already have. If you're willing to do a bit of research & learning, there are many, much better alternatives, both free & not. Do Not upgrade Burning Studio thinking you're getting any real sort of video or video DVD authoring app.
If you can afford it upgrade to support Ashampoo -- it was one of several Ashampoo apps that I bought in a package deal for my wife's PC, so I'm not trying to slam Ashampoo or be at all negative. I just feel it's better for Ashampoo if people don't upgrade for the wrong reasons & then dislike the company -- their products are a much cheaper alternative, not a replacement for bigger names costing sometimes 10X more $.
