What it says in the title.

Running windows 7 ultimate 64-bit on a self-built rig with a gigabyte motherboard, Nvidia graphics card and AMD quad core Black edition processor.

Didn't have any problems running Activate.exe as administrator -- right-click Activate.exe & select that from the pop=up list. That said, the GOTD site was unreachable for me all morning, so that might have had something to do with your problem.
