Every day we offer FREE licensed software you’d have to buy otherwise.
Flashpaste 6.6 was available as a giveaway on November 19, 2021!
Flashpaste provides a powerful and highly effective solution for saving time with typing. You can use the software for typing and using text templates in a way that greatly extends the standard clipboard provided in Windows. No longer will you have to constantly cut and paste multiple texts from different sources.
Not only does this solution allow you to save time however; it also helps to avoid inevitable misprints from manually typing everything out each time.
For casual computer users, the clipboard may be enough, but in many cases, it simply lacks the features that are required for saving time and getting the job done reliably and quickly.

Clipdiary is a powerful clipboard manager, which records every piece of data that goes to the clipboard, meaning that you can easily retrieve any information that was once copied to the clipboard. Isn't it nice to know that you can easily get back anything that was once in the clipboard? If you don't think so, you should try Clipdiary and feel yourself a power user: Whenever you want to, you can retrieve any data you once copied, be that last hour or last week! Basically, that means that you can restore information that otherwise might be lost forever. Most importantly, you can almost instantly access the recently copied clips, so you can literally work faster!
How often do you need to quickly write something down? Whether it's recording a telephone number when the phone book is far away, saving a URL to reuse or just copying pieces of text for editing, there is any number of examples. And just as many solutions… What do you usually do in such cases? Try out our freeware utility for rough copy for your texts.
Uggh! Too many options. Too many settings. Too much involved in setting this thing up. Too many files involved to make this thing work. I'm a simple plug-n-play guy, I don't like complicated. I use Multi Clipboard by Johannes Wallroth, Berlin, Germany.

Is this software only capable of handling text, or does it also include IMAGES cut to the clipboard? If not, everyone's better off using Ditto, which handles EVERYTHING that the Windows clipboard can, saving it for future use. It's also easy to delete individual clicks and EVEN EDIT THEM.

ClipDiary is my favorite, reliable clipboard manager. I've been using it for years and it does all I could hope for. When I first began using it, their support was excellent and I imagine, still is.

There is also a portable version you can find and download on the vendors website. Registering with the provided info you got via email. Just mentioning.

I have been using the open source (free) software ditto that does the same as this but decided to tried this to see if it was an improvement. It seems to be almost the same functionality.
But there seems to be a bug in this one that makes it unusable for me. I cannot find a way to delete a copied item (copied using Control C).
If I go to the paste window it appears under clipboard history but I can't find a way to delete things from there.
If I go to the main window where things can be deleted it does not appear.
For this reason I will not be using it.
To the developer. Thanks for the free opportunity to try it. I think you need to add a delete function to the paste window and introduce some functions to make it better than the many free alternatives.

David Murphy, From what I can see, The text templates you create for text expansion and macros I see are permanent and can be deleted. The clipboard history if enabled holds the last 10 copied clipboard entries temporarily for recalling more than the last single copied entry, and this temporary clipboard history will disappear upon reboot so deleting certain clipboard entries would be nice or to hide certain entries so certain ones dont show but are only temporary as mentioned. They do have an addon called Clipdiary that I see can save unlimited clipboard history even on reboot and says its free for non commercial use which is more in line with the clipboard history feature of other programs.
You can compare these features in this program to Ditto, CopyQ or the most powerful called Phraseexpress with word support, macros, and all kinds of advanced features free for personal use (but not business). It just adds a window showing "Please license to use the feature without license" notice and added in the output text with certain advanced features after 30 days but the functions are all executed. https://www.phraseexpress.com/

David Murphy, I believe this software uses a sort of a database from which you get the clips and it has to be stored in the program folder, I would go and tinker with it without fear, if it breaks, reinstall it but at least you will satisfy your curiosity and who knows, delete the entries you won't need.

DataDragon, There is some misconception here. Clipboard managers and text snippet managers are too different things as Ditto and Phrase Express are different as well.
Ditto stores everything you copy to the Clipboard and Phrase Express store phrases you expressly include in its database (along with an abbreviation).
I personally use Ditto and PhraseExpander, and by the way, the later run circles around PraseExpress. Unfortunately there is no a PhraseExpander free version.
Clipboard Managers: Ditto, Cli Angel, ClipMate, Clipboar Magic, CopyQ, Echo, etc.
Text snippet managers: PhraseExpress. PhraseExpander, aText, TextExpander,Typinator, etc.

I have looked at a lot of clipboard managers and I always come back to the excellent free software Ditto

Bruce Baxter, Ditto is excellent. I used it for years, but now I use CopyQ (also free/open source):

I don't recall why I switched, but I know I spent some time comparing them.
