I've been waiting for an application that converts Kindle to epub to become available on GAOTD. This one works great. My books are no longer slaves to the Kindle app!

The software seems to work wonderfully with your typical Kindle books, but seems to fail on larger compilations. It would be nice if I could convert my compilation books, but apparently that is not going to be possible.

I tried to convert a number of my compilation books, but all failed. To name a few, 'Charles Dickens: The Complete Novels + A Biography', and another book book called '100 Books You Must Read Before You Die - Volume 1'. I opted to convert each to PDF, and for the '100 Books You Must...' the software ran for 1-hour and 5-minutes. In the end the software indicated that it had failed to convert and I should try again. I did with the same result.

Despite the fact that it failed it dropped a 16.6MB PDF file into the output folder, which of course won't open. My PDF software gives me an error regarding the "PDF Structure Library," and that the "Reference Table (xref) was not found". What a waste of time those were!

Tried again with some smaller books and those went fairly quickly and the PDFs worked perfectly. All links within the original books (if present, like in a cook book) transferred over and were clickable within the PDF version.

For the most part, I am satisfied. I would hope that down the road, they would determine what the problem is with large Kindle Books and get that issue straightened out.

Hmm. My Windows 10 desktop and my Chrome don't let me do 'offline' viewing.
So this would be useless for me. (I updated Chrome after it didn't work: same result- no dice.)

Can't wait to evaluate this package. However, after download and installation, the registration fails with "Unknown Error" using the provided email address in the readme.txt file.

How do I get AZW3 file out of Amazon? I have tried recently with no luck.

Generally, I use the Kindle Reader For PC & download with that, then access the download folder for the books (don't do too many! - they don't have titles, and it's a hard to deal with renaming a bunch at one time).

Keeps demanding I install a chrome add on (which is already installed) and just won't work because it says the add on isn't installed WHEN IT IS

Add-on is not needed. Just go to https://read.amazon.com/, log in to your amazon account, right click the book(s) and select "Download and Pin Book", then restart KCR. Good luck!

You can get plenty of free alternatives ? provide a link then.! Seriously it's a good program free today even if only licensed for 1 year. Thus and?
Try it if you've got use for this kind of program, use a serious good uninstaller (or timefreeze !) and decide to keep or discard it...

Exactly - there are NOT plenty of free alternatives of this quality. In fact, you pretty much have to PAY to get updates to ANYTHING that actually works. This is free for an entire year, so it is in fact an excellent offer.
