I downloaded the software, installed it, it was activated but can not seem to find it listed as new program or see the shortcut on the desktop. Running Windows 7, 64 bit. What does it install as in the program list? Thanks!!!

Same problem as #6, Joe, perhaps. I get the initial and end/successful GAOTD gray box, but nothing in between. Software is downloaded, extracted, but never installed, which makes me sad. Perhaps someone at GAOTD will have mercy and lend a hand, maybe even extend the installed period.

I installed without problems to Win7-64 but when I try to launch I get a popup asking me for username and key. Where do I find that? It's not in the README, and was not requested during installation. The program will not proceed.

Invalid registry when i open the program not working , using windows 10.

Sorry guys had no other way of posting a message to the giveaway site. I can't access my forum account and the only place I can access the internet at the hotel I'm staying at is at the reception desk and even that is sporadic. Just back from holiday - I think most of you are mistaken here... This ia an entry level tool aimed at beginners which I discovered the last time it was offered here at giveaway.
Like I said back then, I only wish I've known of such a tools back when I started. Instead I spent months wading through tools I was not ready for at the time.
The benefit, despite lack of plug-in support, is that you have a tool you can start mixing right away, because everything is "straight forward" and you can concentrate on getting the result you want. VST(i), RTAS, DX etc. seems to me to be left out to allow you to do just that.
We have to learn to differenciate between what is now and what is tomorrow, and this tool is now for those who is just starting out mixing music.

My previous '“Enter Email Address” button doesn’t work for my HP laptop.' problem has been resolved. Thank you GOTD.

I use Audacity for most of my audio work - and especially for my weekly radio show. Any thoughts of pros or cons of this over Audacity. I also recently used Switch for a couple of things I needed on audio for a promo video - worked great to convert a WAV to a MP3. But may download this and check it out just in case.

Can anyone (who has used both) compare today's offering to Audacity ?

I only occasionally need this type of software, I'm not a musician, but do sometimes need to make simple tracks for videos and demonstration presentations. I have been using Audacity, or struggling to, which, to be honest, I find very complicated for what I need it for. I've already knocked up a couple of quick tracks with Easy Audio Mixer and LOVE it - it's simple to use, works well and gives a good final result. Even better is that it works with all the many samples I've collected so saves going through all that again.

This is a definite keeper, thank you GAOTD.

I have to admit, that I have a faible for small or single programmer units, which do not hide behind anonymity and pretend to be a big global player, working from the kitchen table of the parents home. I am impressed, Mr Fernandez. This is not only Easy audio mixer is a multi track editor designed for average users it can be used by the advanced user, too. The help (video) is excellent. Some limitations can be solved after install. The software can export to WAVE files, and Windows media audio files.
Also, if you have the LAME MP3 Encoder, it will be able to export to MP3 files.

Install it and test it! I’ll keep it as a fast working tool for mixing and as an example that there are real programmers in Paraguay, too.

I have meanwhile deleted the program, while cleaning up my system for the Win01 update. I recognized, that I didn't use it.
