Giveaway of the Day, the so called green "Get FREE Giveaway" button is NOT a solid easily seen green button but a very light green gradient under the main graphic not at the top of the page like the readme.txt states, spent far too long trying to find it... and when you do finally find it and click it you have to scroll down to see the change to the page as it does not open a new page or auto scroll to the new content of interest. Very poor design unless it was intended to trap us amongst their mothers day promotions... is that today?

I started putting my tv & movies on a portable hard drive to play through my Roku and i got this freeware here and it's great, lets me resize the screen, removing the black bars, in which i hate.

I have found that you have to start over again if you have the reg problem. Uninstall, go to https://www.mediadimo.com/mothers-day-promo
then scroll down to the very bottom of the page (with the black background) and click on the giveaway from the list of products. You will be redirected to a page where you will get a green download button.
But first copy the reg key which is underneath.

Finding the reg key is often a problem with G0TD but this is the hardest one I have come across. Good luck to all who have yet to get today's offering.

What I don't like is how when I search for Reviews I find pages of listings... directly associated with Dimo. That's a level of marketing control that disturbs me more than a bad Review...

and using Firefox.

In having to Manually enter the Registration Key Code (Copy and Paste doesn't work) / What looks like a Capital i (I) is actually a lower case L (l) for those individuals who tried entering the code and getting a (Registry Fail) notice

Böse Falle beim Registrierungsschlüssel: I (großes i) und l (kleines L) sehen beide gleich aus, gemeint ist hier immer kleines L. Wer großes i eintippt, wird nicht registriert. Kopieren und Einfügen klappt leider nicht. Ist die Registrierung jedoch geschafft, erhält man einen prima Konverter, der auch h265 unterstützt.

Regarding with your problems of registration, please uninstall it, and re-download by the link provided in this page: https://www.mediadimo.com/mothers-day-promo to click "Free Giveaway" and input your email, then you will forward to the workable Giveaway version to download along with copying the key there.

This is the best work-around on this situation. You can copy and paste the registration link.

First, copy and paste the registration link into notepad. Then copy and paste the registration link from notepad into the Videomate program.

Will register the program without any problems.

no direct 4k/uhd profile output setting, best webm codec is VP8.... needs VP9 or 4K/UHD output.

mkv and HEVC profiles looked promissing offerein g HEVC h265 but best profile offered was 1080p standard HD.

Defaults to the root of the logged in users folders and not somewhere sensible like in the users Videos or Videos\Dimo folder...

Will not merge seperate videos which makes it's ability to load JPG's and try to convert them to a video one picture per video pointless.

It apears to be able to merge excerpts from the same video file but it's not obvious if the controls can work at the frame by frame level, which would be essential in determining the optimal cut and join points. really this editing needs to be available across multiple video file clips. If we could merge all the clips we'll want in our final video production into a single file and control the cut/join frames accuratly then it might be more useful.

Really the editor functionality is inadequate, if I need to edit videos I'll use a real editor like VSDC free video editor.

For those having trouble copying and pasting the registration number, try copying s usual then when pasting use the ctrl+V to paste the number.

Ian, He's right, it went round and round transferring then reading between Google and YouTube then it resolves, but where it stopped nobody knows; tried three times with the same results.

There are many websites to download videos from YouTube in different format (example savefrom.net and keepvid.com). We no need to have separate program to download YouTube videos.

Does this program do what it is promising?

Try installing other software. I think it will have the same error. This got to do with windows configuration file.

rob, Secure A Plus did that to me alot because I had it in gaming mode. Probably not your problem but it shows that some programs can mess with installation. Took me a longtime to figure it out.
