ender, Since Android 6 Marshmallow, Android devices ship encrypted by default. This means that you don't have to worry about people accessing your deleted data using forensic tools.
Android devices use full disk encryption (FDE) or file-based encryption (FBE) protocols, as well as a TRIM feature that clears and removes data when it is deleted. This eliminates any chance of recovering it once you factory reset your phone.
Even if tools can extract old files from your device, these files are encrypted, so they can't be read by anyone else. This is one of the many reasons why you may want to enable end-to-end encryption on all your devices.

ender, Believe it or not, factory reset does not remove the data. It removes all addresses for the data so the phone doesn't know where it is any longer. Yes the data should be encrypted, if what Google/Android states is true. (Android 6 and up shipped with data encryption enabled) but.....
Years ago, Avast purchased Android phones off Ebay..and recovered data from them. Yet they were wiped using factory reset direction. Yes the versions have improved, but I do not chance it, not when it comes to Google.

Hello ender,
This is Coolmuster Support Team.
Android Eraser will delete the data on your phone, then overwrite the deleted data with our program, other third-party recovery software could not recover the deleted data again, using the factory reset does not overwrite the data and files, so the data and files may be recovered using the recovery software, thanks.
If you still have any other problems, please feel free to contact us at support@coolmuster.com, thanks.

Mr Peter Mason, Sorry Peter but that isn't always the case. A few Android phone, factory reset running Android 10, had a lot of data retrieved. And it was readable after some time.

DO, As for the platform, different Android versions were present, most of the phones had Android version 4 (different versions), others had Android version 2.3.x (Gingerbread),” so NOT encrypted
