You can do most of those disabling in win10 by doing your own setup, furthermore, after installing it, I get 48 seconds boot up time instead of 42 sec before installing it. Every computer is differently configured and your results may vary, but the bottom line is this, you will need those win10 modules running in the background sooner or late, some will load ahead and some will load after the main win10 screen shows up. It does not hurt to install it but on the other hand, why have this software running 24/7 in the background.

Unfortunately this program suffers from "advertising bloatware". You try accessing the several features within the "registered" program and it hijacks your computer to an online sales pitch. Purchasing a premium version of this would likely be a nightmare. Thanks anyway GOTD.

I'm using ver. 7.82 from a previous GAOTD offer.
It is easy to use, and it provides mainly a number (boot time in sec.) for the Windows part and a number for the programs. When you monitor the boot times, it can indicate by a graph what is the overall direction, or just a constant boot time. This way, it assists in deciding if something happened with time and the issue can be resolved with BootRacer, but also with conventional Windows methods.

Hello, Dear Bootracer team
Let me know please, whether I will be able to install this software with Polish language built in. I know that there is a possibility to download it later, but I am confused when I have to change anything connected with administration's tools signed to it's owner in Windows 10, what has to happen during this operation

My computer is very slow to start and BootRacer shows my startup programs are not the cause.
What is needed is a program to identify other causes such as drivers.

"My computer is very slow to start and BootRacer shows my startup programs are not the cause."
You can try disabling some services using msconfig [type msconfig in the Run box & click OK]. You can also try booting into Safe Mode, which disables most services to see if that has an impact, before trying to narrow it down to one or a few services. You can run one or more malware scans -- malware starting with Windows could be the culprit.
That said, Windows can take a while to start if it's installed on a conventional hard drive, particularly if the drive is slower, and/or if the CPU is on the lower end of the food chain. We've got a couple of devices with Intel Atom CPUs, one with a Celeron, & one with an i3 -- they simply take a while, even after Windows 10 has started before they're fully up & ready.

IDe, there are many reasons that your computer is slow to boot up such as the CPU, RAM, outdated drivers, degradation of your hard drive(s), power supply, outdated BIOS and software to name but a few things. With detailed info on exactly what your set up is it's impossible to say what the problem(s) could be. As for BootRacer, I've no need for such software, I don't need to know how long my PC takes to boot up.

mike,
My computer is a potent i7 and tests beyond what you suggest were already tried with no clear finding. A slow and repeatedly frustrating process!
Given that BootRacer does what otherwise would have to be done manually, isn't it logical that what you suggest above might be done by extending the functionality of BootRacer to tracing the more obscure causes of slow start-up??

Installed easily. After I entered the registration key, I turned off my computer and turned it back on. The message on the right still says "Free version, Go Premium". Is it registered or not?

Dmitrys, I had an older Giveaway version. The new installation seems to have removed it. I installed the new version and registration from the Giveaway download.
