A Batch Picture Resizer is software that anyone who works with digital photos will find extremely useful. Many people use expensive and complex image editing packages just to resize photos and resolve other simple issues because it has not occurred that there is a far cheaper, quicker and more efficient solution. Also, resizing pictures manually, one by one, can be vastly time consuming, especially when you have hundreds, let alone thousands of photos that need resizing. One solution is a powerful little user-friendly application called Batch Picture Resizer. With this simple and cheap program, you can resize any amount of images quickly. The picture resizer can be used to reduce the size of your photos so that they are more appropriate for publishing on the Internet, emailing to family and friends or simply to save space on your hard drive. The highest quality possible is also preserved in the files. Batch Picture Resizer also provides the possibility to change the color levels of your pictures or add text and watermarks to group of photos quickly.

I had a previous version of this program installed and on a different computer. It was installed and activated but there was nothing impressive about it.

I always hated the concept of forcing users to start installing a program before allowing them to have an alternate way to get their license code. The main reason is simple; what happens if the program fails to send the code? What seems simple (enter your e-mail address, click "Get free activation key" could fail.

This time, I'm not sure what happened but the same thing I have hated about these types of installs is that the activation e-mail never arrived, and yes, of course, I checked my SPAM folder. As a result of not receiving the key after two hours, the only alternative is to Cancel the install and start the cleanup process (thanks for Restore points).

What I find interesting is that due to the program's inability to handle all situations it turned out to be a great ad for IrfanView, XNview and Faststone.

Faststone Photo Resizer is free, and in my opinion better.

Sort of amazing that someone actually spent time developing a program like this, when there are so many free alternatives, including the one provided by Microsoft in PowerToys -- and thinks they can sell it for $39.99/year!

For many years, I've been using a program Xnview https://www.xnview.com/en/ for such mass edits, sizes, resolutions, and many other tasks, which is free of charge.
