Keeps crashing upon start (after splash screen) with a fault module at: ntdll.dll.
This is from the details of the win op sys error screen (app crash).
Last year 11 months ago was also offered and had same problem. This may still be the same version (?). Other people reported stability issues back then.

I have not received the Serial Number Yet, Followed Instructions to the Letter, Filled in Name Email etc, Also done the little Code to show i'm real and Basically not a Robot. Page Responded and Came up with Product Page.
Ok so No Email received with Serial number, and No Serial Number Shown on Product Page That came Up.
Checked PDF File, yes done Everything Correct also PDF says will Show up on page after Filling out Details, But no
all i get is a Product page with Product Overview and Product Features but No code.

I usually have no trouble getting GOTD serial Numbers and Activation codes even with this type of Serial Number Process, and Usually have no Trouble with my Yahoo email with Company's.
I would be annoyed if no Serial Number sent, but start Receiving there email offers.

I'm a totally newbie when it comes to computer stuff. Actually, just got my first computer a few months ago. Anyway, I tried to open the pdf activation instruction file with wordpad and it was unreadable. It was full of symbols instead of words. Anyway, my point is, I don't know how to register this program. I also opened the link in the readme.txt file and I'm still having trouble figuring it all out. I'm sure it's very simple but I'm lost. Could someone please point me in the right direction or tell me what I'm suppose to be looking for. Thank in advance...

There's still 1h 40m left for the giveaway to end, but they seem to have removed the activation link! BULL - downloaded fine - installed "fine", THEN 4 minutes of the PGM trying to install SONIC MYDVD which has NOTHING to do with the program assuming a Music Pgm has nothing to do with Video.
And the Sonic has been "installed" in the system for years - and works
But then the REAL FUN......after it opened and went to "get code",,,,,,,,,,,13 TRIES to get it to accept the INFO after inserting the "verify code" - apparently I'm BLIND as it would always go back to "try again" after the 13th TRY and 13 codes put in. And yes presumed it WAS case sensitive...
That's when I uninstalled the program - that MIGHT have been interesting or fum......oh well

Doesn't even recognise it's own, carefully-entered, serial number! And I tried three times. It just keeps saying, "Invalid serial." Well, it came from YOU, tosh!

Took 3 tries to get a serial number that would work. Exiting the program causes it to crash every single time. When starting the program again, twice it has come up with the trial/enter code/buy dialog. Hope it isn't this buggy when trying to use it. Windows 10.

Like previous offers of often so-called professional music editors, this one seems to lack the ability of handling MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). Most serious musicians use MIDI instruments for composition, printing sheet music etc. What is needed is a free or inexpensive program that will work with MIDI instruments, but alas, all we see offered here on GOTD are "toys" for beginners. I still need to keep my old XP machine, only for the purpose of running the "real program" - or dig into my pocket and buy a new version of a MIDI sound mixer. However, I still appreciate the work of GOTD, and also even limited sound mixers are nice to have offered, as long as it is clear that they are ... limited to some fun.

FWIW I didn't see anything on their site about ASIO, but in all fairness, ASIO drivers from the manufacturer are relatively rare nowadays -- I'd bet most users never heard of it. Likewise you're correct, it doesn't handle MIDI, though again most users will not be using MIDI instruments & such.
AV Music Morpher Gold does handle non-MIDI VST plug-ins, though in my experience in a somewhat unusual way... Normally you have one, maybe two VST folders that every app uses, but per their tutorial, VST plug--ins need to be installed to a specific sub-folder of the program. You might be able to use a work-a-round, e.g. linking to the VST folder, but IMHO the developer should either have the software search the registry for the location of the set VST folder, &/or give you the ability to specify that folder in the app's options.
As TK replied, it does do multi-track. I think the developer would also benefit from a site re-design, since lots of info is stuck away in the many tutorials for example... IMHO a simple Wiki or a help file page or PDF would make discovering features a whole lot easier.
That said, you are also correct in saying that there are better, more professional alternatives for recording etc., though many come with a somewhat steep learning curve & often a higher price. A few companies however offer versions of their software free in hopes you'll someday upgrade. Blackmagic Design gives away DaVinci Resolve, which has some nice multi-track audio capabilities, and/or Presonus gives away Studio One 3 Prime, which is a very usable version of their music production DAW.

VST plugins have to be obtained and placed in the Plugin folder just like for Audacity. The killer for me was no tie to Gracenote and the CDDB. I haven't edited tags for years and I have no intention of starting now.
Too bad. I like the interface. I'm keeping the program for AV Easy DJ, but Audacity for real work.

Had a look at Avsoft's site and saw that it doesn't seem to support Win 10. According to the blurb: Fully support Windows OSs: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8(new). For the asking price of $99.95 I would have thought Win 10 would have been supported since has been around for quite a while.
Can anyone tell me if this will run on Win 10 or not?

Generally speaking, if a piece of software runs properly on Windows 8/8.1, it will almost always run as well on Windows 10; this has held true even for drivers. Of course, there are always outliers, but they are rare. This is because the evolution in changes to the Windows kernel have been much more incremental with respect to Win 10 from Win 8, and even from Win 7.
This can be contrasted with the earlier graduation from Windows XP to Vista, which represented almost a complete overhaul of the Windows subsystem (Win API, dynamic link libraries, etc.). As a result drivers written for XP were almost always rendered incompatible with Vista, and a good number of programs written specifically for XP could not be guaranteed to work as expected.
Perhaps more information than you cared to know, but to answer your question concisely: if Windows 8 is listed as compatible, you should not have any problem with Windows 10. And on the off-chance that you do, you can always try "compatibility mode"--which by the way I can tell you from experience, works much more reliably in Windows 10.

I installed it successfully on Win 7 64 bit pro, and have attempted - unsuccessfully - to get it to run on Win 10 64 pro partition (same machine, so same hardware). Will not load - message says AV Music Morpher Gold has Stopped Working - (Close Program). Tried another download - same thing. Even under Win 8 compatibilty it fails.
Giving up. Life's too short. Unless some genius out there has a fix.
(BTW, installs and runs fine on an old XP laptop.)
