It is good to use. My friend recommends AudFun and DumpMedia Spotify Music Converter to me. They are both good.

Any idea why it would shut down Spotify when you hit the convert button?

DWC, that's when it's recording. It should pop up again after it's done.

I first had to install the Spotify app onto the PC.
First use was a bit sketchy, but in the end i managed to download a few songs in mp3 from spotify. So it did work.

Then out of curiosity i tried the Allavsoft downloader and Ant downloader given in GAOTD a few days ago. After registering a spotify account i was able to download mp3 file from Spotify which i thought would not be possible !

So I guess what makes AudFun Spotify Music Converter special is the other functions dedicated to Spotify

Do not forget to turn off automatic updates or the app will be useless.

Several days ago I filled out the "contact" form on this site with a question, but, I still have not received a response. What is the typical response time that I should expect from giveawayoftheday?

Had no issues downloading and registering this software. Took me a minute to figure it out since it was asking for the Spotify Music Link. Then I noted it said to drag the album or song to the software. Once I did that it filled everything in and I was able to convert multiple albums quickly. I then realized that I should have gone into the settings and made a change since it recorded everything in a 64kbps bit rate. That was easy to change, though. I set it on 192. It then recorded everything at 160 for some reason. I'm guessing that's because my Spotify streaming quality was set to "Automatic" instead of "High" or "Very High". Didn't test that since I was happy with 160 kbps. Everything was tagged correctly except it left "Genre" blank "disc" blank. I was also able to drag multiple albums at once only the app and it separated them correctly. Very happy with the software.

I do not have social media because they are ran by evil douchebags. I'm not going to log into anything to "share" your link. Get rid of this nonsense.

Harrison Koch, you can just use your email address to get it. No need to share it on your social media. Don't miss this way.

Installed on Win. 10. Works as advertised as opposed to previous SW that just didn't find Spotify. In this case, it may first not find Spotify installation if it is not in the default directory. Close the program and reopen and then it works.

I keep getting warnings from Windows and Norton that the setup file is not safe. Has GIVEAWAY of the day vetted this to make sure that there is no embedded malware or other malicious code associated with this program?

Reply   |   Comment by Mac  –  2 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (-3)

Mac, Norton is a piece of sh!t. If a program has no reputation, it is the same to them as having a bad reputation.

Didn't work last time & still doesn't work. I get a message that Spotify isn't installed yet it is. And then I open up the app & try to paste the link in the search box & hit the plus symbol still no luck. And how are you supposed to drag & drop the album or playlist into the main screen? Don't waste your time. And oh yeah Bitdefender shows it's malicious.

Bob Fallona, to use this tool, you need to install the Spotify desktop app ahead of time. Then it will work well to do that.

Apparently any process that goes faster than 1x (playback speed) runs the risk of getting the users Spotify account suspended. The AudFun website says it can run at 5x speed with no risk of suspension. How is this possible?
