install & registration was smooth. ran the program, and analyzed the system, it found 5120 kb browsing traces & 1 unnecessary registry entry. during optimization, it wanted to close the edge chromium browser running in background, which I checked to allow. optimization fixed registry entry but did not close browser and fix browser traces nor did subsequent run of the optimizer.
so I installed it on an old computer and it found issues in all categories. compared results with optimization results from other software I use and found that it does in fact detect most issues & available optimizations.
after optimization, I ended up with the same result. it fixed everything except browser tracks. and my other software agreed.
so overall I would rate it 4.9 stars out of 5 as it does what it says it does, just has a bit of difficulty closing browser and deleting history which can easily be accomplished before or after use.

Mario, the year named Ashampoo products are usually slightly feature reduced giveaway versions that can be picked up free in lots of places. The regular numbered versions are full featured versions, but this is an older version, so not easy to compare the two.

Installed it but did not start (on Windows 10) .Earlier I had an other version of WO, but uninstalled it before the installation of this version. I simply do not understand...

It looks like it needs winoptimizer 2022 or 2023 (v25) for windows 11. Apparently winoptimizer 2022 version is free if you install the free ashampoo connect which also has some other good free full software like burning studio 2022 and music studio 2022 https://www.ashampoo.com/en-us/lpa/connect or it seems you can also choose upgrade from the software or the 18 software page on ashampoo website and get the newest version for probably 14-15 dollars typically if you dont want to install connect. Similar software is glary utilities and maybe IObit Advanced SystemCare.
