Downloaded and ran. Program deleted stored passwords, and changed various settings. For instance, Radio Times tv schedules website was reset to its default settings. Same thing with Chrome cookies disabled. Very annoying. Program deleted.

LEIGH and GILOCENE, after waiting and contacting Ashampoo support and getting nowhere, I closed the endless circle window, which closed the WinOptimizer 17 home screen. I then reopened the program, got the same screen again to input email and password which opened the sending email link window again, however, this time it worked and the email was received in a matter of seconds, Did the confirmation and activation was successful. Good luck!!

When I use Firefox and click on the "Download Now" button above, it does not open the panel to save the file. This works correctly with Opera. I think this has to do with a recent (within the last week?) update to my now current Firefox 90.0.2 64-bit. I am posting this here just to see if anybody else has run into this. I have noticed this at a couple of other sites and with Adblock Plus on or off. I am pretty sure I don't have an ad blocker in Opera, but, I couldn't swear to it. Anybody else found this problem with the most recent Firefox update?

I do not get a pop-up window to activate. When I sign into my ashampoo account it just says I have downloaded the trial version and have a trial liscense. How to I activated the giveawayoftheday version?

The program gives an error message that I am not connected to the Internet, which is not true. The program rapidly closes once the pop-up error message has been closed. I encountered the same error when trying to install Photo Optimizer. I gave up on a solution. This will probably be uninstalled as well.

The application takes up the whole screen. No way to close it after working with it :(

Same as " LEIGH" still waiting activation code. Usually i don't have this kind of problem. Please review .

I have Ashampoo WinOptimizer 19 from here which I downloaded 6/3/21.

I don't know if Ashampoo reads these comments or not, but I'm also going to send them feedback. Personally, I think they only need 2 versions, a trial (paid) version and a free version. They should also remove the older versions, some of their apps have 3 or 4 versions, getting rid of the older versions would also make things less confusing as to which to try out or download.

I will further use Cleaning Suite 4,002 Standard Edition from Ascomp when I need it.

The versions marked with a year number are the somewhat limited versions, the full versions have version numbers like 17, 18, etc.

As with all Ashampoo products I can not activate mine. Always gets to the little blue circle promising to send me an email to activate but the email never arrives. Don't know why I bother with Ashampoo at all.
This is so simple with other software providers but not these guys. Created an account enter password get an email enter number get another email OMG!!!

I have had several versions of Ashampoo WinOptimizer. Ashampoo WinOptimizer 17 is rich in features and really help to clean, repair, and maintain your system. You don't have to get a separate program to defragment your hard drive. That's a big plus. You don't have to worry about a subscription with an expiry date. You can use the program until you decide to get a newer version of it.
I wouldn't do deep registry cleaning which can damage your system. Just use the one-click-optimizer for that.

You will see offered from time to time versions with the title Ashampoo WinOptimizer 2019 or 2020. I would avoid these and get the versions with a number like 17, 18, or 19. These are better.
