Please follow the guide to register Apeaksoft MobieTrans:
Step 1. Download Zip package from GOTD.
Step 2. Unzip the Package and run setup.exe to install it.
Step 3. Select the disc type to enter the main interface. In the popup window, click “Register” to enter the register window. Then click "Get Free Registration Code" button to visit the registration page, where input your username and email address to receive the registration code for free.
Step 4. Back to the software interface, input your email and paste received registration code under “License Key” to register it successfully. Click “Activate” to complete the registration.
Note: Check Junk or Spam email if you can't find the free registration code.

The write-up made it sound like this worked for both i-phone and android
"which enables you to transfer various iOS and Android device data".
sadly it did not. I have android - it connected to the computer and showed the files and in the listing it showed them as having greater then 0 bytes. But when trying to open or transfer - the byte size showed 0.
Am I doing something wrong or is this just for i-phones?

I have android (and hate Apple).
Even their web site is vague on the point you raise. It could be interpreted two ways -
1) Transfer from Android is allowed
OR
2) Transfer from iPhone to Android is catered for.
I cannot tell if this can be used by us Android owners.
Will someone from giveaway or apeaksoft, please clarify this ?

PM, their website says "That's the reason why we develop MobieTrans which enables you to transfer any data like photos, music, videos, contacts, SMS, etc. between your iPhone/iPad/iPod and computer without iTunes, iOS devices and Android phone, even Android devices/iOS devices."
When I tried my iPhone on PC without iTunes it wasn't recognized and then reports "iTunes error- For scanning your device successfully please keep iTunes up to date- download iTunes from the Apple official website, after installing latest iTunes please restart the program as administrator".
So yeah it appears iTunes is needed. Too bad for false advertising and I didn't want to install iTunes either!
