An AI-powered object remover for videos and images.

AllMyNotes Organizer is created to manage huge volumes of random information, categorize it in to a flexible outline hierarchy (by topic), restrict access to it with a password, and navigate and search through it instantly.

Information is all around us, everywhere – access codes, bookmarks, ideas worthy to note, anniversaries, birthdays, phones, draft letters, business cards, picture...

The list can be infinite. And there is lots of software aimed to ease data management - contact organizers, task managers, calendars, password keepers, and a number of others, narrowly targeted uses. These apps are good, however, aimed for a limited usage scope, with limited set of fields for entering data.

AllMyNotes brings an alternative concept of info management, it's simple - a free form, data management. It provides you with a few simple tools (notes, tables, alarms, checkboxes, etc.), so you can build your information in any way you like! No more limits, no strictly defined fields, just feel the concept and start creating your info space brick-by-brick. :)

System Requirements:

Windows 2K and higher versions - 2K/ XP/ Vista/ 7, including all server versions of Windows.

To Volodymyr Frytskyy (developer):

Thanks for replying to my comment #102 in your comment #130.

Due to your explanation of the "mechanics", it dawned on me the primary reason for preferring to install the "desktop" version vs. the "portable" (which should have been obvious to me -- I must be getting rusty -- duh!): it would be for multi-user-account computers, so each user could have their own private set of stored/organized information. Perhaps you should mention that as a reminder in your FAQs or on your download page for those deciding which to install.

For a single-user-only machine, though, perhaps my original point might still be valid:

For an experienced PC user, installing the portable version to the hard disk would allow for simple drag-n-drop copying of the main/root folder for AMN containing both the application and data to (and from), say, an external USB memory stick for easier transport and use elsewhere, ensuring that all data AND application updates are "synchronized".

(Or perhaps you already have a "sync-with-external/USB" feature that automatically does that for BOTH the data and the software itself?)

Anyway, I'm enjoying my purchase -- thanks!

I had 2 errors when installing this program the first time on a Win XP Pro SP 3 machine. The Errors where for unknown Exceptions during the install. Well I Just had to share my E-mail with Voldania Software which gives my 2 cents on the program & about GAOTD. Slightly Edited for content length & a rearrangement of thought to be pasted & posted here on GAOTD

Hello Volodymyr

Or should I say Dobrei Vecha Volodymyr, Good Evening Volodymyr. Yes you are correct in your assumptions, the program ran fine when I installed is a second time. I used the temp Install file to re-install it a second time.

I have never liked the Give away of the day software wrapper, it gives me way to many time outs and errors some of which end up with my needing to reinstall a program a second time. If I can run the program directly from the Tmp file there is rarely a error report of any kind.

I have also no problems running the program this far. I have not yet tested the full features out but I do so look forward to playing around with this.

I like the idea of keeping track of my dreams or my blogging notes, or perhaps in writing out some of my poetry, short stories and or some of the other thing that go on in my mind.

What I have to say about your program is that it is awesome to use. (old school expression for excellent) This program is slightly similar to a IBM, lotus program I had way back in 1998 but this is 1000 times better.

Thank you for offering this on give away of the day. As a man who lives on a fixed income of a very small disability supplement, these programs are often outside of our afford ability.

But thanks are due to companies like yours and to Give away of the day. that we can try out the latest software for free there by saving the few dollars we have.

One last note Vlad, yes everything runs smoothly now, at least it is does this far. Please take note that I am writing this on the all my notes program and will be spell checking before copying it in to out look express to mail to you.

Thank you
Signed

I have a positive first impression of AllMyNotes from trying the build posted by the developer yesterday.
I did copy it to a flash drive and try it on another computer. To me, a portable version would be the NORM, and not an afterthought.

Wow. I am shocked to see this here! I use this software almost every day, and was just thinking about upgrading/buying because every time I launch it I get a reminder that I don't have the latest version. I too used to put everything into text files, but then started to use it in a really big way over the last few months and now prefer it to text files because when I need to find things it is easier to search and find things using this software.

@120 marcie: This GOTD’s build requires no code. Just install it, and it will download from the Internet the code on first run. The About box will indicate that the app is activated in Deluxe mode.

@122 dan: Please contact the support for details how to do it, all depends on file types, hopefully it will be easy to import them in a batch.

@109 Richard Packham: Import from Evernote is very easy, as we support import from .enex format. Simply darg&drop data from Evernote to your desktop, and from there drag&drop it to AllMyNotes.
And you can open hyperlinks with Ctrl+click, or, double-click.

@110 Paul: Sure, AllMyNotes supports Unicode, use it for typing in any language.

@113 Joe T.: You actually can change file location easily using File -> Save As menu item, or by copying your .ddb file to any location and opening it from there with double-click in Windows Explorer.

@102 harpo2448: aside from drive letters Portable version also saves.ini (config), and .dbb (data) files in the same folder where it's unpacked. While Desktop version is storing these in My Documents folder.

@101 Powder_Skier: It’s not an e-mail client, though you can grab pieces of your e-mails and paste them in AllMyNotes.

@103 bjondc: GOTD’s version is also Deluxe, but purchased license allows free upgrades (including upgrade to version 3, which will be released soon), also, it allows Portable version to be installed.

@104 tinynutf: For info how to use Dropbox please read manual, and, also this page - http://www.vladonai.com/allmynotes-organizer-support-how-to-synchronize-notes-info

Program does not show up in any Start menus, though. Can search for the program and start it OK, and, for now, pinned it to my start menu.

but the link after activation of today's GOTD installation is 60%:

A few clarifications would help. This free version seems useful, and I've downloaded in to four computers I typically wander to/with around my home and home office. If I purchase the software today, do I need to purchase 4 licenses, or 1? Also, why do some of the discount pages flash 60% and some 71% discount for today's GOTD special pricing offer?

I downloaded the free version last year and liked it so much I bought the deluxe version. I transferred my files from KeyNote --- no problems. Easy to use and has good features. And dealing with Volodymyr is great. I wish all developers were so accessible and helpful. I had a minor problem (my problem, not his or the software) when I switched from a Vista 32 system to a Win7 64 system and he responded quickly and straightened me out. I highly recommend this app and developer. No, I am not related to him or his company in any way.

Hi, Oh dear, something spooky at the moment, all Comments (after #4) stating number "1" (Friday the 13th?..:), so hard to relate to them, especially if answerers only showing "@ number"..

Luckily thou - Volodymyr eager to step in and help with queries, good on You!:)

On my part - didn't need any help or persuasions and I'm very glad indeed to get AllMyNotes Organizer back again (lost the last Version after moving to a different PC)

What decent piece of Software it is!! The only change I would like to see (Software installed on different than C drive) would be Data (backups) kept with it, rather than in My Documents, but that's all.

Thanks GAOTD and Vladonai for bringing AllMyNotes back, and.. extra Care on Fri 13th!, just in case;)

Okay, instead of singing here another hymn of praise, I just bought the programme.
And I'm sure, when I have learnt to use Win 7 and my Wacom tablet, I will ask for handwriting recognition.
But there is no need to hurry, I'm a slow learner.

Thanks Volodymyr Frytskyy for a good programme, for good service, and for a good bargain :)

And thanks to GOTD for giving away gems now and then.

Why not allow the main database to be in a user-defined location? That would allow syncing via Sugarsync (put it in the "Magic Briefcase" folder) or comparable. I realize this may not be your model for more private, non-cloud syncing, but it would give syncing immediately, before 3.0.

Or maybe it's already possible to do this somehow with the backup database's user-defined location?

This is a wonderful software. I have been setting up folders, adding notes, moving notes - from all those places on your computer where you cannot find your needed note - all day. :o) I just purchased this a few minutes ago and after finishing here, will go back and find more "stuff" to move. It downloaded (GAOTD) good/registered great with no problems. Then purchased and the ordering went excellent - fast. I was able to change the registration fantastic. So, I'm off and running. I agree with the others that it is really nice to have the developer to answer questions and give advice. Not many do this and it is important PR for your product. Thank you GAOTD for having this program and Volodymyr Frytskyy for a great program that you have developed. It most certainly will help me clean out some more junky notes that I have. (Installed on Win XP Pro SP3/Quad Core). Have a nice day everyone.

@81 > "AllMyNotes is much more sophisticated. You can delete the folders you find unnecessary and create new ones"

Maybe just me but that doesn't sound very sophisticated. I wrote applications like this in the 80's, it's the kind of project given to students.

I found nothing of real value in this giveaway, I uninstalled after 30 minutes of playing around. I will stick to my pen and paper, and excel/access for anything I need to be sophisticated.

As for media & photos etc. if your applications/players don't already provide a way to organise the contents then you need new ones.

Just my opinions :-)

I downloaded this the last time GOTD offered it (v. 2.42) but did not use it, since I already was using Evernote and had hundreds of notes there. Two questions for the developer:

- Can I import the Evernote data easily into AMN without doing cut&paste of each note?
- Am I correct, that one cannot click on a link in a note to go to that Internet link? (You can do that, in Evernote)

AllMyNotes Organiser is well written user friendly software with a low learning curve - The generous 71% reduction for upgrading is great and should merit serious consideration - I recommend others to upgrade (as I have already done)to support future development of this product - While I do agree that Evernote is an excellent free product, I don't agree that it is superior to this one, as the password protect offered with AllMy Notes I find to be very useful, as is the helpful support here from Volodymyr - Howard:)

hello,

i wanted to thank the programmer for his efforts, but to let him know that his custom menu's makes his product for the main part inaccessible to the blind using a screen reader to access there computer!

for any developer, standard or accessibility enabled (that means all the additional properties work) and standard screan edit fields, anything else makes it impossible or in this products case much to diffacult to use

thanks, but sorry a no go for the blind community

I've been enjoying the free version for some time and found it to be very useful and stable. Install on a moderately powerful Win7 machine couldn't have been easier. I simply closed the free version that was running, followed the installation instructions in the 'readme' and voila! There it was complete with all my data and settings including skin.
Thank you for the upgrade Volodymyr I'll particularly enjoy the alarm and spell check options. With this I will replace two programs, a similar notes program that I ran in parallel and an antique post-it program that I used for my daily 'nag' alarms.
Many thanks!

To Volodymyr Frytskyy (developer):

I just purchased, downloaded, installed & registered the "desktop" AllMyNotes. I then looked for info as to how to register the portable version before downloading and found this post in the support forum:

http://www.vladonai.com/forum/post629.html

I am asking the following here (vs. your forum) for the benefit of today's GOTD visitors:

Based on the info in that forum post, you state that after activation with a purchased license the portable version has the same feature set as the "desktop" Deluxe version; but it would seem the portable version is more versatile in the sense that it is designed to "not care" about drive letters (when, for example, it is used from a USB memory stick on various machines).

If true, then what advantage, if any, does the non-portable "desktop" version have over the portable version; i.e., why should I not uninstall the "desktop" version and then install and registering the portable one on my hard drive?

It seems it would make keeping both hard drive and USB copies of the application (with any software and/or dictionary updates) and the user data synchronized as simple as copying the "AllMyNotes Organizer Portable" folder from one device to the other.

...and thanks for replying to my earlier comment!

I liked the writeup, and was ready to buy... but... I can't import my previous notes.

My (more than 10,000) notes are in .rtf docs, with a few hundred of my notes in each, with homemade delimiters separating the notes and hashtag keywords and an identifying number for each note. (the delimiter for notes is a text line consisting of just: "* * *")

When I tried to import, I just got one huge, fat note per .rtf, which is just as useful and just as useless as the .rtf I already had. No help at all. No keyword extraction either, I assume.

It would be a simple enough feature for a note program to extract the individual notes from such files while importing, and I know I'm not the only person who has done this - if only because I'm not the only person who's so old they were working on computers back before such programs as allmynotes existed.

If this program can't divide up my notes and import them properly and usefully, is there a program that can? I don't have time to learn PERL just for this task, and needless to say I'd like to spare myself 10,000 cut and pastes!

One wish for the future: Allow notes to be placed on the desktop like sticky notes. Even if they are not live they can then serve as reminders.
