Downloaded and installed on Windows 10 64 bit just fine.

Added videos with AC3 audio, but the audio didn't work right. They are TV shows an the dialogue wouldn't play. Music played fine but no dialogue. Converted the audio to MPEG and it played, but it was now out of sync.

Surprisingly, many of the (paid) video file to DVD authoring programs do NOT allow you to re-position the items on the Menu page.

Doesn't sound like a big whoop, until you attempt to create a main menu for multiple video files against a background of your choosing.
That's where you run into a brick wall visually with the other authoring programs out there.

Thanks AiseeSoft & GAOTD !!

Ok, figured out how to download program without stupid add on extension.
But have a few questions. Anyone know how to just download a video from youtube without burning to a disc and converting it to useable video? And then where to find it?

Why does this have an add on extension that can change things in your computer? It's not something I need or want and when I hit cancel will not let me download the product without it. Normally I love Aieesoft and products but not if this is how they are doing business for something that is free. Thanks anyway.

Love this style EULA. The first thing I see gives me confidence that AIseesoft is still on the up and up. Nice clean interface on the software. I think folks that are still using the DVDs and CDs in this world will not be confused by the workings of this package.
I still use CDs to send my wife off with new tunes. She is used to it and I see no reason to change. I have CD MP3 players in all my vehicles. This is going to be nice to have.
As far as downloading from the web, https://youtu.be/m3lF2qEA2cw fails. As does the full page of YT stuff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m3lF2qEA2cw.
Is the world's largest vid source closed to the software?
I will try the same item at Vimeo... https://vimeo.com/124963127 Hey Anylizes and downloading. This might be alright.

DOBW, YT blocks downloads of copyrighted material, especially music videos and movie material. THIS program will not download them but there are online workarounds. If you use Firefox or Pale Moon there are working Add-Ons. There are also online services that do it (free).

Is that vague enough?

Uses with Windows XP (SP3)

When I click on the Burnova Icon a windows popup with the following error message appears:

Cdrecord.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point CancelSynchronouslo could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll.

The program's main windows then open up, and this error message is repeated again.

When I use the Add Menu File(S) button, this sam error message appears again. What going on?

WOW!!! Forget about the "burn DVD debate"! This piece of software has awesome video download functionality - I have just tested it on a few YouTube videos as well as other sites and it works! consider using this software for that functionality alone and then burning the videos to DVD or whatever pleases you. Thanks for a wonderful giveaway.

Why would anyone say that DVD is outdated ....????
If "you" don't use something, it doesn't make it right!
People try to push their ignorance and make blanket statements that are incorrect, to say at least!
Also, I fix computers and problems people have when they erase their pictures from their USB sticks, Hard Drives and other devices other than DVD! And they would give me any amount of $$ to put it on DVD that doesn't get erased by accident or infected by viruses; or the USB sticks and Hard Drives just stop functioning for no reason at all! Personally I put all pictures and videos also on DVD disks for a long term storage, because they do work even after decades in storage - that isn't true with USB sticks that become useless for so many reasons! People also loose USB sticks and or can't find them, but most smart users keep all DVD's in a safe place, they can find any time!
I'm also photographer and every customer gets all pictures on DVD and other media, that is the professional way.
If you read the comments left here, there are more people using DVD disk than most people can imagine. Our governments, police, military, business, schools and just about everyone but the few who do not educate themselves. For the rest of us, we appreciate programs like this and encourage every business producing great DVD burning software to continue to improve them!
Thank you very much!

Tony,

It seems that the vocal minority wants the world to follow their lead and migrate away from optical media because they did.

You have made a solid case for the unreliability of hard drives and flash drives.....
Sadly, many will pay no attention till all their media is gone in an instant when their storage system fails.

Every institution who "rents" media by way of streaming has a vested interest in keeping that business model alive and well.

Why own media when you can rent it ? Right ?
Wrong.
Sounds great until you stop paying the monthly bill.
Then you have nothing.

Just my 2 cents.

Tony, I've burned more than thousand DVD's and only a small amount survived more than 5 years, and some were only readable a few months, even with the best brands. There is an enormous difference in longevity between self-burned DVDs (where the laser beam burns an organic dye for DVD-R or a metal alloy for DVD-RW) and commercial DVD where the info is pressed macanically. For DVD-R(W)s, only the (expensive)Sony Gold gives a warranty of (only) 10 years. The only alternatives for long term conservation is the stone DVD (can be burned by some consumer writers, like LG) and the glass DVD (as sent in space by the NASA). Practically, in my opinion, the best way to safely store information (data, music, video) today is on Raid configured hard disks. Up to you to decide to also burn some videos on DVD for the ease of use...

Reply   |   Comment by Sean  –  6 years ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (0)

Sean, I'm not sure what you are doing, but I've burned CD's so long ago, I don't remember when exactly, sometimes in 1990 I think, and I can read the CD today! I've burned so many DVD's and CD's I lost count, but so far all of them I am able to read. In early 2000 I transferred mini-VHS tapes to DVD's and they work today.
So if you have burned some DVD's and can't read them in 5 years, something is wrong, but I do not know what, I'm not an expert and I don't know so many factors - one factor is to CLOSE THE DVD/CD and make it so nobody can write to them again. That is the most common problem people don't pay attention to! If you leave the DVD "open" to change, that will cause problems as soon you use a different burner than the one you used to burn it in the first time.
I'm IT and photographer so I also help many people, including with how to burn DVDs and so far none of the DVD disks failed to read. Just a few month ago I had to retrieve customer's data from about 15-16 years ago and they red fine! Lastly, how the DVD are stored is also a problem for some, but I store them on the spools, where 100 fits on one spool. I buy them always in 100 spool holder and I like the DVD's that are white, clear white top, where one can use a printer to print a custom label. The "painted" DVD's are much more stable for so many reasons, one is that the DVD writes under the top label and not in the middle of the plastic! Many people do not know how the DVD actually writes the data, so I don't want to get technical.. The white coating on top seals the layer where the data is written. ALSO, I do not use a permanent marker to write on the DVD, and if I do, I write on the outside edge, where I don't see any data written, just in case the chemicals penetrate the protective layer. That brings me to my last point - how do you label your DVD's ? It alone could be your problem, but that is a speculation on my part, since I do not know anything about your situation - just judging it from the statement, that your DVDs do not last much longer than 5 years! I hope you can find someone to help you with your problem. Good luck!

Frank Russo, I think you and I think alike, but I'm not against their way of living, I just like my style and my DATA to be right here in a safe place and I have 100% control over it! When the data is in the CLOUD, it can disappear at one point - and I've experienced that many times. Thanks to my "old way", I have the data here and I was able to use a different service to share what I needed to, but I do not put anything out there that I could not loose! At the sane toucan, I do use server, my own or "out there" including cloud services, but it is much less than 1% of my data. New technology will change everything one day, but for now, this is how I use the existing technology. Just look at all of the music loving people, how quickly they dropped the LP's!??? And now, the LP's are coming back, because digital music isn't as good as one makes you believe! Many people discovered that not all new technology is a keeper and the LP is just one of the "old school technology" that is here to stay for a while! I'm not bashing technology and people that use something older or newer than what I use, I just speak out here and there to show others my views. I hope everyone can respect other's way of living and help each other so we all can prosper and love each other!

Gilbert, I would like to add that if you live in rural West Virginia, most people can't stream movies. I mentioned that to a young associate at Best Buy one time when he told me they didn't sell laptops with DVD players. He just looked befuddled.

Col. Suresh Bagga,
You are quite mistaken about DVDs being a thing of the past. Many, many, many people have a use for dvds. Perhaps you find that you don't have a use for them. In that case you could comment that you personally don't have a use for this software offering, but there is no need to make sweeping generalizations about what you think other people may or may not find useful.

Always glad to see a dvd burner that allows use of srt subtitle files! Too many lack that feature.

On my way to work so will grab this tonight and evaluate, but the srt feature makes it a keeper for me.
