abylon WLAN-LIVE-SCANNER 2022.3 was available as a giveaway on May 21, 2022!
abylon WLAN-LIVE-SCANNER checks at regular intervals for real available Wi-Fi networks and lists them in a clear tree structure. In addition to the network name (SSID), the connection status, network type, encryption algorithm and signal strength in percent are also displayed. Starting with Windows Vista, the connection to the selected network is established if the access is free, public or already known. The software abylon WLAN-LIVE-SCANNER also helps with the individual PC settings, if needed. This allows even technically less experienced users to connect to the Internet in a foreign city.

Security suite for irreversibly removing sensitive data and traces from various storage media
Monitors all visible or invisible programs, services and monitoring functions and blocks them if needed.
I wish it has shared or rent out Wi-Fi signal feature among Abylon WLAN-Live-Scanner users. Unlike good old days, decade ago, most of house users nowadays, put security blocks. Even software tells the users how strong the signal in percentage, blocked Wi-Fi is useless to visitors who are staying that area. If Abylon users could share or rent the Wi-Fi with other Abylong users, it is more useful.

You can scan all of the Wi-Fis with your router much more accurately.
Where is the pass cracker? Without it, it is just an info software.

Very basic, very old style interface (retro). Not sure of it's value. Easy to activate.

I would like to see a brute force login cracker added. What's better than having a WiFi cracker on board - who cares what networks are available if one can't login?

Bacon Frenzy, the channel assignments of the wireless access points and ad-hoc radios in the vicinity is of great value in deciding the best channel and protocols for your WLANs access point/s.

Ok interesting little tool, the signal strength meter might have more value if it was in Decibels. Other than that not much value to me.
Thanks for letting me test

Paul Johnson, dB signal strength meter implies some level of calibration that is not possible over such a wide range of radio hardware and antenna technology given the available software API.

Needs a way to turn OFF the sound it makes on scanning. I see no options or settings to turn the annoying sound off within the application.
