I have found screen capture to seldom fail but the last to use because of the amount of memory used and if interrupted for any reason you get a bad copy

Never run in to this before but, like (I guess based on votes) a couple of other folks, I have tried to install and have had no luck. No matter what I have tried over the last few hours (safe mode, disabling antivirus, etc., etc.) after trying to install I get a "could not connect to server - installer will now abort" message followed by the successfully activated note then back to the GotD page.

Anyway, no big deal, just mentioning it in case anyone is keeping track of successful activations for some reason.

That link is broken, Microsoft redirects us back to a generic windows 10 advert page.

I have also run into the same problem for about 8 hours now. I keep getting a warning "1avinst.exe is unsafe to download and has been blocked by Smart Screen Filter". When click on Learn More it brings me to
I am direct to MS also at: It is at the bottom of the email's list of the 1AV products right under the 1AV Center Full Version in blue print. Click the link and is will bring you to the page with the 90% off.

I am sorry I have waiting on Yaboo! to send me my deleted trash emails so I can walk you through it but it still waiting for it to return.

I get a warning "1avinst.exe is unsafe to download and was blocked by Smart Screen Filter" When I click on the Learn More link I am told the link no longer exists also via MS

Wolfe, no it does not, it is the most basic of capture utility limited to quite restrictive profiles unable to even capture audio from output sources using WASAPI for soundcards that do not have soundmixer input pin hardware! Also no DV capture support either.

If you look at the bottom of the list you will notice 1AVCenter is on sale for 90% off. How can you go wrong for $10.00 you get the entire package to do everything you want.

KAHSR, don't see no where showing a 90% discount unless you purchase in volume 500- 999 programs. can you be more specific to where this is located. Do it show or did you see it while using the app or on the website?

It says 1AVCenter is on sale for $9.90 but if you click on the link it wants $90.05 instead. (It also shows $9.90 on the order page but the Subtotal is $90.05). Not sure how you got it for $10.

Don't pay the 9.90 for the program as I have not been able to activate mine. It's a loooog story but the link in the email they sent me will not load the program. I will be contacting PayPal tomorrow.

bobc, when I click through from all the $9.90 links above they report a price of $9.90 and that is the price presented to me to be paid via paypal, which of course I declined to complete as none of the centre suite perform any job sufficiently well to be worth $9.90 to me.

If I choose to use avangate they add 20% VAT onto the price which I believe is illegal since VAT is not due on imported items of total purchase value is less than 18 USD and I'd be willing to wager they do NOT pass on the VAT to HMRC that should get import VAT on products imported into the UK whose value is greater than $18 USD!

If I choose Fastspring the product information is wrong, whilst $9.90 does apear on the form it is NOT in the product price field but what looks to be an otherwise unused description area.

Choose Paypal method and you'll only be charged $9.90 USD plus whatever currency conversion charges paypal may make.

I cannot test REGNOW as the URL they use is unaccessible here, could be my ad blocker or a problem with their server.

Going to give it a try but it's annoying that, like so many programs, it wants to add itself to "Startup" when it's a program that is only used when needed.

only records video or JPEG picture. Option to record video WITH SOUND is NOT AVAILABLE along with many other options

After running setup.exe to "install and activate", the connection goes to GOTD and returns a successful activation message.

However there is no installation. I tried d/l from vendor and installed, then ran the GOTD setup.exe but that is no help.

Any help appreciated.

Tom, in similar situations with others GAOD I solved this issue installing the software in "windows safe mode with internet service" and after that it worked perfectly well in normal mode. If you want, first you can try installing it deactivating your antivirus software, and after that it will work with antivirus software running. Surely in one of these alternatives it will install.
