The free application, justly titled, Eraser, does all this and more up to 35 times to help prevent retrieval. Have always used this one, even prior versions. Works great getting rid of files / free space however many times you tell it.

Eraser is not in the same software category as 1-a-b-c-hard drive washer.
They are used for different purposes.
Eraser is for secure deletion of data, so that snoopers cannot look into your hard disk and discover secrets.
1-a-b-c hard drive washer is for cleaning so-called temporary files that may be clogging your hard drive or memory cards, taking up space or slowing it down.

A very standard part of dozens of maintenance programs.

Many temp files and folders are necessary for windows and many programs to operate properly, removing it temporary will not solve anything, they get recreated the moment you restart windows and or your regular software.
In my opinion, this software just is running down your SSD and constantly deleting files on your regular drive is not a good practice.

We have no idea why, but Google(TM) Safebrowsing(TM) thinks that the registration website to receive a full version key for this edition is "dangerous" since app. one hour.
If you should get an error message in Google(TM) Chrome(TM) warning you that this website is "infected" or something like this, please use this link for registrering instead:

Who cares about temporary files? I, for example, do not. Here's why.
First, I always dedicate a partition (say 10 GB) for all temporary files. Meaning you'll have to move the usual temp places (unfinished torrents, browser caches, 7z working folder, installation files...) to that partition. If you are the only user of the computer, no problem; otherwise, it could be a serious breach in privacy. How you can deal with this issue is another discussion.
A long time ago, when I installed my first Linux distro (Red Hat 6.0) on my first laptop, I experimented using the Linux swap partition as a host for Windows (95) temp files. If my souvenirs are correct, it worked very well. I don't do this any longer because I always have some work-in-progress stored on that partition.
With my dedicated partition, I never worry about the space it takes excepted when I work with ISO or video files, never defragment it.
There is one thing you should care about though: an .exe file in the user's temp folder. Wiping out this folder is not an option because what you want is be warned when such appears so you can assess whether it's legit or not. So, what you need is not a temp washer, it's a directory watcher or/and something like PrivateFirewall.

This program doesn't recognise which *.tmp file is an abandoned thus unnecesery and which is just a temporary file, which will be written again as soon as being deleted. In addition this program doesn't even search for temp and tmp folders other than those in Windows directory. I've been loking for a program which would clean my temp and tmp folders, but I haven't found one so far. So, I have to delete the content of these folders manualy.

An interesting program, but a few improvements are necessary (in my opinion). Like Karl said last time it was offered, it also found nearly 500 files that were unnecessary on what I thought was a clean system. After deleting them to the rubbish bin plus a backup folder like suggested it said to look for unnecessary files again, it found another 300+ so I deleted them again, then same again. Then I woke up what was happening. It was finding the files it had copied to the backup directory and deleting them again, and again. Either remove the backup directory from the search path, or preferably zip them up with a unique name after each clean. Also please provide a text file with the names and paths of what was deleted into the directory as well, to aid in knowing where to replace any that should not have been cleaned..
Otherwise a great little program as far as I can see so far.

Further to my last comment the program stopped Google Chrome from working and I had to re-install it - hope there are no more surprises waiting to bite me. Looks like more care is necessary in its use

Installed and registered without problems on a Win 8.1.3 Pro 64 bit system. A clean install.
A German company from Bremen. We had had several software from this company, a previous 1-abc.net Hard Drive Washer 7 on December 13, 2013. Here are the old reviews:

So many awards, is there an award, which this company has not yet received? Missing Karl's reward for excellency?

Nothing bad about washers, cleaners, removers, or whatsoever program to give you the feeling of having a fresh and clean computer. But the claim: "but most of the time they only decrease the speed of your system the more is installed on it." is absolutely misleading. A temp file my occupy space, cleaning a temp fill will reduce the temporary space for a short temporary time, but does not influence the "speed" of the system. Well always an exception - if your disk is at the limit with 99%...
I have stopped long time ago even using the well known Priform program for two reasons (it is even not on my system). First, due to the use of my "Freezer", all temporary files collected in the meantime, will be automatically removed and second, if I "thaw" the system for updates, I prefer the built in Microsoft cleaner. LOL

You can even look beforehand, what data and files will be cleaned (German: show files)
The program does what it claims, the possibility for a "safe" clean to the trash bin is not very useful. How will you check 2000 files, whether they can be cleaned or not...
Have a well washed system and a nice weekend, too
Uninstalled via reboot, I wash myself.

And what do you think Karl about such kind of programms as Uninstall Tool or Revo uninstaller ? Are there necessary and better in your opinion or is it better to make cleaning with in windows built-in programms ?

"... I prefer the built in Microsoft cleaner. LOL"
In case it's useful to anyone, in English the name is Disk Clean Up, & it's often found in the file menu of Windows built-in apps, under Accessories in the Start Menu on some versions of Windows, a shortcut can often be found at Control Panel -> Administrative Tools, &/or you can search for cleanmgr .
It's VERY necessary if you upgrade to Windows 10, or upgrade Windows 10 preview builds -- it might remove 20-30GB of old files. It also can remove some of the old files from Windows Update -- sometimes not that much, but if it hasn't been run for a while, or never been run, you can get back several GB.
