For those that aren't aware, today's offering includes the MP3 Player, which was missing from the previous one.

Thumbs up to Zortam Corporation for including it this time, and thanks to Giveawayoftheday.com for re-running it.

I installed the Zortam Mp3 Media Studio successfully but the registration routine does not accept the registration number provided. Any clues?

I was so hopeful when I saw this program being offered again. I was hoping they had fixed the MANY problems that had been in the offer a few days ago. Well, the program STILL CRASHES. I was attempting to "batch find lyrics" and the program just stops working.

This does NOT speak well for a company that is attempt to gain followers for their program(s).

Downloaded, installed. Apprently, the author has corrected the install bugs that f..d up his previous attempt at putting this version on GAOTD. Still, my verdict: another swiss-army-crap mp3 tool. Too cumbersome, too many features, hardly bug-free.
I'd like to note that there are really tons of FREE utilities that do all the individual tasks better; just download the ones for your needs.

E.g.,
Tag editor: mp3tag
MP3 organizer/editor: tagscanner
MP3 auto tagger (+ cover art finder/embedder): taghycardia
Audio converter: freemake
etc., etc., etc.

Tried this to see if any difference between Version 16.40 and 16.50.
Not that I can detect. Except instead of auto-activate in Version 16.40, this time with Version 16.50 they provide you with a Name and serial key to type in to activate the software.

It required that you first fill in the Artiste Name and Song Title; and the software says that only then can it perform an auto tag check from the Zortam database.

I tested it with a popular English song that was easily identified by every online audio-tag utility. Well, to help Zortam along, I did type in the Artiste Name and Song Title. Even with this big handicap, Zortam Media Studio Pro could not find anything. Completely useless at identifying songs.

I uninstalled Zortam Media Studio Pro Version 16.50 immediately.

Which leads me to share with you a great find that is FREE.
Winamp (Full) Version 5.65 is freeware. It has built-in GraceNote link ability. (The Lite version does not have GraceNote ability)

Just be careful during installation to uncheck the offered installation of other stuff like toolbar that you do not want.

I tested Winamp Full, using a non-English language song that no other software or even online audio-tag utility can identify. I deliberately made it an extra difficult test for Winamp by choosing such a rare song.

Unlike Zortam Media Studio Pro, there was no need to type in the Artiste Name and Song Title in the tags to help Winamp along in the test. Winamp did not require any handicap.

Winamp (FREE) identified this song ACCURATELY and within 20 seconds. Amazing.

It would be very informative if we knew why this re-run o a buggy product. I didn't download it a few days ago, so why should I do it today?

Windows 8, won't run. Install was smooth, but even trying to run it "as admin" and using XP, and then Win 7 compatibility didn't work. I'll check here tomorrow to see if someone has a solution. Looks like a great ap, if I can just use it.
