tried downloading it, screensaver worked fine then had to do system restore cause the computer stopped working, now wont work. we downloaded it in the correct time...

Anyone else having problems with this, mass graphic corruption on the textures etc.
Using a Geforce 5900.

Hey, does this work on a dual screen? I've looked but can't find (again) Otherwise delightful, but I too have my concerns for the people of this quiet (that's an understatement) serene - crime free(?)village.

I have wanted one of the Astro Gemini Screensavers FOREVER!!
I think they are beautiful.

This one reminds me of a SIMS town. LOL

Smacky, that has to be one of the funniest things I've read in a while. Thanks for the laugh.

Smacky is thankful for this wonderful screensaver, but wonders. He wonders if anyone else finds the town depicted in the screensaver creepy as hell?

Think about it: the town - lets call it Screensaverville - is well lit - in fact, while Smacky watched (from 7:45 to 8:20 pm), every single light in every single window was on. All of them. Even porch lights and tool sheds and stuff.

Despite this, there are very few signs of actual human life. First off, no people. Lights are on, but no one is at home. Or are they all at home? Huddled inside their houses, every single light in the place blazing, guarding against God knows what.

There are no footprints in the snow. Judging by the rate of Normal snowfall (the default selection), it would take about 30-45 minutes to completely eradicate all traces of footsteps. Sure, they would fill in quickly, but still leave an indentation. Erasing that totally would take some time.

But there are car tracks on the road. By the looks of them, they are relatively fresh, and appear to have been made within the last 10-15 minutes. But we never see a car.

But, as Smacky watched, flying about town, he noticed that the tire tracks never fill in. So, that means that someone is driving around and freshening the tracks. But they're always 10-15 minutes ahead of Smacky, no matter how many times he takes a shortcut by flying over the river.

So, to summarize the situation in Screensaverville:

1. Every single person in town has either (a) left the town, or (b) shut themselves up inside their houses and turned on every single light in the house.

2. Nobody goes outside; in fact, no one has gone outside for some time.

3. At least one vehicle stealthily patrols the town.

Sounds like something is definitely going on in Screensaverville. What aren't we being told?

I love the graphics and the sound. But I keep getting these white streaks across the screen. Are they supposed to be lightbeams from the various scenes or are they a problem with my graphics card?

Hi. This is a wonderful screensaver. Love the music in it. Very Harry Pottery.
Yet I don't know why it will not let me activate it even if it is in the time period.
I think it's because I have full version on Autumn one also activated from here but I'm not sure.

Nice screensaver!!! But... where are all the people?? And the rest of the Christmas decorations? If not for the happy background music, it almost looks like a ghost town. You know what would be cool, is if the camera could fly in through the houses and go from room to room and see all the Christmas activities going on (opening presents, Christmas dinner etc..).

It's still pretty cool though and it's staying on my system for the Christmas season. :)

I installed and activated the screensaver. It is beautiful, but it continues to aske me to register. I have activated it as stated, but it remains in demo mode.

I'm not being able to activate it. It says its activated succesfully yet when you open the software its still "Unregistered".

Can not get program to activate successfully. Have uninstalled and reinstalled a few times. Had anyone been able to get it to activate/register with no problems?

lol what the times have come, screensavers take some time loading before they can be viewed just like pc-games..

Thank you so much for the winters tale screensaver. Its lovely and I willbe using it from now for the festive season. Like the clock in the corner aswel, comes in very handy.

It's a nice screensaver, but I'll be fair: I wouldn't pay $15.96 for it. There is no movement of people etc. It's a deadly village. I think the Solar system screensaver is more interesting.
