Not a bad product - worth keeping in your collection of PC tools.

It never installed "AU_.EXE" for me and I have run spyware & virus checkers since - no problems.

Don't install this. It installs "AU_.EXE" in your temp folder, which is a trojan horse. look it up on techspot or google. If you search for it in your registry, you'll find it was Premium Booster that put it there, and you can't delete it without killing all your tasks. Even uninstalling PB won't get rid of it.

Tried it, love it!!!! Found far more errors than Registry Mechanic and every process was really quick - especially the defrag!!

I am a newbie to the site, and this is the greatest download I have seen!

I have two computers, one is having problems, is it possible or permittable to put this on a CD and transfer it to my other computer?

It found alot of problems and actually allowed me to repair my Internet Explorer program that was not loading properly. I dont normally use IE but wanted it to function properly so I could upgrade to IE7. Firefox is my browser of choice.

My system have consideratly slow down after I've used this program, why ?

The program found an apparent 192 registry problems. However, right after I used it, I atttempted to use my AVG anti-spyware, which showed a sudden inability to open the resident shield. Apparently, along with problem registry entries, I also got rid of necessary ones to open necessary aspects of this program. I therefore had to uninstall it.

I don't like it. It erased some programs from my startup list, for example. :-(. It is too much automatic. There are better softwares on the web.

I tried this program yesterday and it fixed an annoying issue making my system unstable. Everytime I booted up it wanted to send a letter to Microsoft about a severe error. Whatever, it was after I ran this program I haven't had the unstable system problem. All of the programs I use regularly survived the fix. So I'm happy.

I downloaded this program last night and to my amazement it works!! My husband is a Nascar game player online and he has had some issues that we have not been able to fix and this program fixed his computer problem THANK YOU!! for this great program :) Sissy... aka Muriel

Sirs, I found your offer yesterday Feb 13, 2007 before noon eastern time for Premium Booster and went to your site to download your great offer. I did download the program and followed the install instructions. I received a message indicating the offer had expired on 2/14/07 and was dropped. I really wish I could have installed this fine program. Is there any way you could make this offer available to me again? Thank you.

DONT USE ON TABLET PCs. It crashed my WINXP pro tablet PC, would not boot and required a system restore to work again. I'll stick with Reg mech.

I downloaded this program at work and installed it there. It worked flawlessly, but I didn't realize I had to activate it until I got home. When I installed it on my home computer, I realized what I did wrong, but I didn't write down the activation code that they gave us, so I can't activate my version at work. Did anyone write down the activation code that we are supposed to use so that I can fix my work version? If so, please email me the activation code at joshperry3@yahoo.com . - don't make the app window fixed size. I have lots of screen real estate unused. I would like to be able to maximize the app to show more rows of data at a time.

I almost didn't acquire this after reading about all the problems some of you ran into, but it seemed like a worthwhile addition to my toolkit, so I went ahead with it. Only difficultly for me was finding the proper link to register the product, yet once I did, I copied/pasted the number in to ensure that I didn't type it incorrectly.

Having had troubles in the past with registry cleaners, I know to be careful using them, especially on the first run, before fully understanding the actions to be taken. This one is very user-friendly, and seems to have done a good job very quickly. It found and fixed 239 "errors" that my other program, Windows Registry Repair Pro (3B Software), didn't catch in its quick-scan mode!

I'll use the program's other features once I study them further, but I'm happy with the results so far. Thanks for this offer; I'll know to look for others from this company in the future...

#176 ...umm, yeah...GOTD gives the programs away, but if Windows needs re-installing then that's partly a matter of how the computer is actually managed. I've had very few problems with Windows (although if I could, I'd go Linux, but dialup is evil...), and this program should be good for increasing the time between having to format a drive. It also leads users of a program to support the company that made the program if they must format, and I am quite sure that the companies that agree to have their programs available here know this, which would perhaps explain why some companies allow it (that, and they get more users, resulting in more promotion of the program when on a shared unit, meaning more people buy it, etc.).

sadly, my internet connection won't be able to get this to my pc within 12 minutes (FDM kills the dl at 44-47%...), so I can't really evaluate this program...looks like iobit is my next stop for a chance to improve this piece-of-[blah] that is my computer

Mine is also stuck at 62% at registry repairing step. I think it is only a little bug. You could use the step-by-step way instead. Just click the button on the left, start the repairing step, then click the "Continue to Next Step" button on the bottom right.
Overall, this software is very good! One of the best that GiveAway has ever been offering.

Wow! i caught this just in time! I was recommended to this site about a month ago, however had been very hesistant to download anything, due to my getting several virus' etc. But this offer was wayyyyy to tempting to pass up, and as i said i made it just in time with my pc being slow i had only 29 minutes to download! Anyways, thus far i truly love it, will make me come back here often, thanks you guys for the wonderful freebie!

This totally blew my operating system. I had to restore the backups with Knoppix. I'd suggest against trying this one.

A: There are free and open source products that do this much better and much safer.

B: This will hurt someone's system if they don't know what they are doing.

After running all the optimizations on Windows Vista Home Basic, the O/S ran 25% faster then what it had been running at before. I absolutely reccomend this valuable tool.

On a final note here, this is a piece of software that EVERYONE can use without the intimidation and complexity of competitors products such as System Mechanic, ETC. Absolutely user friendly!

I'll give this a tentative thumbs-up. I installed (with no trouble) and ran the program. 492 errors were detected. I backedup my registry and corrected the errors, rebooted, and everything seems to run fine. I can't tell as of yet if my computer is running faster, but at least it started up after reboot. That's always a bonus!

However, for the record, there's been no harm done. I usually use System Mechanic (because it's what I have) and have gotten mediocre results. Premium Booster found (and corrected) errors that System Mechanic didn't catch. That's a bonus.

This is an excellent program. I highly recommend it! I manually double checked the problems it found in the registry, and they were good calls. This program is very easy to use, and it does its job well. It's worth the $26.95, but if you can get it free, WOW!

This is great software! It has many useful tools to help improve your system. There might be better programs but this has a really user friendly interface and people can't really complain too much you are getting it free :p

How and where do I find the activation key???

Well, after d/ling 3 different times, I still get the "giveaway period expired" error when trying to run setup. Seems like every other program/game I've d/l has activated just fine. There is something wrong with the setup. I'm glad some people are having luck getting it installed. The setup file is NOT working correctly for everyone. Red/ling it does NOT fix the problem. Yeah, I am allowing access through my firewall just like every other time. For some reason setup is still trying to connect to GOTD server even after the "expire" error message. I'm getting the same error on today's game, Tiny Cars 2. For the trouble I'm going through to get this one program to install, I might as well d/l a pirated version.
